This is the Good News. I love the Wedgwood location with its 1950s Modernist architecture, its sporty palm trees and its sunny, book-lined interior. It’s got wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling wooden bookshelves on all sides with square cubbies filled with books for decoration and reading. The donuts are fresh and it’s next to the Northeast Library. It’s got a cheery, lively atmosphere. Great for anyone who’s having a bad day, or a bad year. First rate cafe. Excellence in interior design.

Best donut shop ever! The coffee is good l, but the donuts are consistently over the top!

Awesome place to get a good donut! Be prepared to spend a little, this is not your average bakery! My total came up to about $8.70 for 3 donuts and a half pint of milk. Also, I was able to enjoy my breakfast on their second story. A very peaceful stay.

First visit! Our visit here for coffee and doughnuts was truly satisfying. My personal favorite was the berry doughnut. The entire store is lovely, with a neatly arranged wall of books and a charming staircase leading to an upper-level seating area. Overall, it was a very pleasant visit.

A lovely space for a donut shop! Surrounded by books and kitsch in funky industrial setting, you can be a hip cat as your scarf down your donuts! I had a glazed old fashioned chocolate donut. Rich and soft it was a little bit on the sweet side for my taste. If you have a more European of Asian palette, it would most likely be too sweet for you. My recommendation would be that it would have been best enjoyed with a hot cup of Joe. This donut shop is Obama approved!

August 2023: Stopped by for a donut and beverage in the late afternoon. The place is huge and has a nice coffee house vibe. Ordered a coconut 🥥 cake donut with pink frosting. The donut was a bit dry. Perhaps it was because it was late in the day? 🤔 Also tried an Ovaltine latte. The drink was very tasty. Would get that again!

This is the flagship location of Top Pot Doughnuts and it's the coolest donut shop I've ever been to! It's got two floors and huge floor to ceiling windows that allow for plenty of natural light to come in. There are bookshelves all around and it kind of made me feel like I had walked into the library that was given to Belle in Disney's Beauty and the Beast! Service was good. The man who helped us was very friendly and energetic. He was very good about offering recommendations and answering any questions that we had. On the table: Cherry Blossom drink Chai Pershing Cookies n Cream We all "Perferred" the Pershing over the Cookies n Cream. Cookies n Cream was delicious; however, a bit too rich and filling for our tastes. The Pershing was kind of like a cross between a doughnut and a cinnamon roll. We love doughnuts and we love cinnamon rolls so what's not to love about the two of them being brought together into one?! Service: Excellent Parking: Paid parking on the street Location: 2124 5th Ave., Seattle

Amazing selection of donuts. I had the classic chocolate glaze which was moist and paired well with the coffee. Service was great. Our server politely let me know how much caffeine was in each drink.

Had the beat apple fritter in my life. Went back the next day and they were out of it. Tried the maple glazed donut, super super good. Surprisingly they’re not extremely sweet, which is a good thing for me.

Probably good selection of donuts (not at my time of visit), tasty coffee, nice staff, magnificent interior and good location within the city. Unfortunately, I didn't like the strawberry sprinkles that much, otherwise I have nothing to complain about this place. The whole space is open and has a great atmosphere.

We stopped in for some coffee and doughnuts and were not disappointed. My favorite was the lemon old fashioned doughnut, and the maple frosted chocolate cake was a close second. The whole store is quite nice, with a very neat wall of books and a fun staircase to an upper level for more seating. Downstairs they have a water fountain and some cups to get your own water, which I thought was quite a good idea. Overall a very nice visit, we would recommend to all and would come back again.
