I recently had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic Japanese sushi restaurant Umi Sake house, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. As a vegetarian sushi lover, I was delighted to find a wide variety of delectable vegetarian sushi rolls on the menu that left me craving for more. The ambiance of the restaurant is simply sublime. With soothing music and dimmed lights, creating the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing dining experience. It's a place where you can unwind and escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. But let's talk about the star of the show—the food. The vegetarian sushi rolls were a revelation. Each roll was a masterpiece of flavors and textures, carefully crafted with fresh ingredients that burst with taste in every bite. Every option on the menu was a delightful surprise. It's evident that the chefs here are true masters of their craft. What truly set this restaurant apart, though, was the exceptional service. The staff were incredibly courteous and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of our dining experience was top-notch. They were more than happy to offer recommendations and answer any questions we had about the menu. Their warm and welcoming demeanor made us feel like valued guests. In summary, this Umi sake house is a must-visit for anyone, whether you're a sushi aficionado or simply looking for a unique dining experience. The combination of outstanding vegetarian sushi rolls, a captivating ambiance, delicious food, and a staff that goes above and beyond to make you feel at home makes this restaurant a gem in the world of sushi. I can't wait to return and savor their culinary delights once again.

We had a wonderful dining experience here. The "crispy rice selection" was a delightful surprise, and the "knockout" sushi roll lived up to its name—though be cautious, it packs a spicy punch! The flavors were outstanding, making it a memorable meal.

Fantastic spot for sushi if you’re in downtown Seattle. Everything was fresh and creatively presented. Happy hour menu and drinks were generous and varied. As a person who can’t eat gluten, I appreciated the gluten-free options on the menu and the staff’s willingness to accommodate that need.

Amazing atmosphere and beautifully interior decorated. Fish was fresh, service was great and overall experience was worth coming for. The crispy rice sampler was delicious. The nigiri was super fresh with the perfect rice to fish ratio. Will definitely come back next time I’m in the city. Will recommend to anyone going to Seattle.

Everything was GREAT! Our server was the perfect level of attentiveness and provided excellent Sake suggestions for the flight. Atmosphere was fancy, yet laid back. We were seated in couch like setup right by the garden which gave the evening a comfortable feel. Honestly, very well priced for the quality.

Spent a night in Seattle and was craving sushi. The glowing reviews of Umi Sake House were true -- enjoyed some of the best sushi I've ever had! Luckily made it for their very popular happy hour. Almost extended my stay in Seattle just so I could go again:-)

Went here for my birthday and it was such a perfect birthday treat! From the outside, this place looks deceptively small, but it is massive on the inside. We’ve gone to countless sushi places here in WA, and Umi Sake definitely packs a punch with unique flavors. They have an insanely large menu of unique sushi combinations. We got two specialty rolls, the knockout (my personal favorite, amazing taste with the eggplant which is not common) and Mona Lisa (also delicious!). To be more adventurous we ordered the ika (grilled squid), kind of tough to eat but it was still great. The lobster soup was our favorite dish of the night, the lobster tasted meaty and the broth was creamy. Would highly recommend getting the soup if you’re indecisive on what to get. As a birthday treat, they gave us a green tea tempura ice cream on the house. It was your typical green tea flavored ice cream covered in tempura, but nonetheless was a great dessert to end the night on. Overall, if you’re a sushi lover looking to dine in for a special occasion, definitely check this place out!

Delicious sushi restaurant in Belltown. Food presentation could have used crisper knife skills at this price point, but otherwise fantastic. Expansive drink menu will have you coming back to try other sake concoctions. Recommended for a great dining experience!

DELICIOUS melt in your mouth sushi rolls. The special rolls are worth every single bite!! They give you a complementary edamame when you arrive and give you some time to order. Happy hour is everyday from 4-6 and include amazing miso soup along with some of their rolls and the calamari salad, highly recommended! We made a reservation due to possible long wait times. Highly suggest stopping by if you’re a sushi lover for a romantic date or hanging out with friends!
