My wife has always had a soft spot for Pronto Pups. They got them every time they stopped in at Seaside while on vacation. She has always talked them up so it was time to give them a try.
They are a hand dipped pork and beef hot dog, and after cooking for a little bit, they are golden brown. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, they did not disappoint.

The only reason a person wouldn’t make a almost mandatory Pronto Pup stop would be if one was a vegetarian. Even then, , a Slush Puppy hits the spot while waiting for the Tilt o’ Whirl !

Pretty good bumper cars. Quite bumpy. Safety not the top priority. Not recommended for small children or children with heads that can be easily bumped. Bumper car rideman seemed punch drunk.

Was bummed they were not open last year due to then pandemic been going there each summer for 35 years. Hope they are open again this year. Does anyone know?

Corndogs, bumper cars, tiltawhirl! Such a great little section in the main part of downtown! Highly recommend taking some time here with the family. You won't regret it! Take lots of pictures!
