Food and service are always fantastic. We're usually at the bar and see how busy it can get. Full respect to the bartenders.... Courtney, Jennifer, Anthony, Rich, Avery....I don't know how you do it.
I remember the Sawmill back in the late 80s and early 90s. This isn't it. The place is brighter, cleaner and has family dining. The pizzas are HUGE (37" diameter) and very tasty. If you enjoy cold domestic (corporate breweries) drafts and pizza, there is a great deal waiting for you. $7 for a pint
Huge portions! Great Staff! Only drawback is the very loud noise level inside. Pictured below is the Cobb Salad, Sawmill Burger, & Clams/Linguini. Not pictured were the Fantastic App's! (Cheeseballs, Pretzel Bites, & Coconut Shrimp)....also not pictured my $10 20oz. Pina Colada. So don't let those
Great pizza, the biggest slice you'll ever have...lol. Server was very friendly, quick service, brought our drink order out quickly!
I was in Seaside Heights for business and decided to try The Sawmill as it appeared to be a quiet, somewhat fancy sports bar by the pictures shared on Google. Sports bar, yes; quiet, not at all. Fancy? Not really. This is a family restaurant and I learned it's famous for really big slices of pizza.
Cheesesteak had during one visit was very good, but salad had on subsequent visit with chicken, bacon & avocado was outstanding.
Subsequent visit with friends we enjoyed their enormous pizza and good beer selection...
From the front door you would think it was closed. Side entrance was more appealing. Inside was huge , multiple TV screen and large bar. Food was good . Giant 27 inch pie only bought a slice cause was more in the mood for a platter. Slice was not to good , fresh pie might have been a better choice
Went there yo get a quick lunch and was a little concerned about the price for one slice... but man was I wrong! Well worth the money cause the slices were freaking huge and not only that, they were delicious! Not to mention one slice made me feel full for 7 plus hours. I'm definitely going to go ba
We had 3 kinds of pizza, gyro salad, and cheese fries. All of the food was good. Our slices looked better than some others I saw on here. We also tried two of the $10 drinks. Blueberry lemonade, and prickly pear margarita. The flavor was there but felt very weak like they were watered down.
Great food and prices, service can sometimes be slow even when it's not super crazy but it is worth it and the servers are nice. This is the only place I'll grab pizza on the boardwalk, I've loved it since I was a kid and I take my son now. The garlic knots are sooo good also. As are the sandwiches.
The Pizza was huge and wings were yummy.
Plenty of room.
Clean, fun.
Tried this spot out last weekend. If you want a giant pizza then this is your spot. Went for half a chicken parm slice. The bottom of the pie could’ve been toasted a little more. The cheese wasn’t melted very well and keeping all the toppings on it was like juggling a meatball on a sheet of paper. S
Did NOT disappoint
We were traveling from Nh and were told we had to check out this establishment. Atmosphere was inviting the staff was extremely friendly the the queso and chips were hands down the best I have ever had And the pizza was enough to feed a small family! Price was inexpensive for the
Delicious food and a classic of the Seaside boardwalk. The Sawmill is an absolute must if you come to the Seaside Heights/Park Boardwalk.
The pizza is great but if you want a lesser know treat, get the garlic knots (see photo) they are fluffy and delicious. Best garlic knots I've ever eaten bar non
Great place for everyone! Update 5/2023 .. We wanted to sit by the window and were told we couldn't because "those tables were for parties of 10". After being seated, right across from us, at the window was a table for 6. We were there was hardly anyone in the very large dining room. There was no re
Love the massive pizza , my brother had no idea it was that big .
The biggest best NJ pizza you will ever eat. Their pizza is iconic. A slice is the size of a newborn baby. I'm from NJ and this is my favorite pizza place ever. My fiance was amazed when I brought him for the first time at how big the pizza was, we even saved the box. They have cheese steaks, chick
Gone are the days of the dollar slice the size of other places entire pies with a free soda, oh those were the days but the Sawmill survived the highly suspicious fire of the boardwalk and to this day remains the anchor of the Park end of the boardwalk. Seriously without this there is no reason to e
Had the breakfast buffet....food was nothing to write home about...but it's $9 so...🤷♂️ had a nice bloody Mary with it...the service was awesome...and a GREAT place to watch some football and have some nice pub grub and a cold beer or 6.... definitely plan to check out the regular menu next time.
