Anglers Restaurant - Searsport - Photo album

This was our first time eating here, we just happened to be in town for some work. The food was so good! Large portions, for the money. The wait staff were all very friendly & fast. We ate our main course before I thought to take any pictures, but I took pictures of our desserts. Bread pudding & hot
Really good restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by the inside of this place. Great selection of food options and sides. My prime rib looked overdone but was rare just like I ordered. It was very good. The onion rings were really good and hand breaded. My lobster stew was fantastic. The clam strip
Portion was huge and prices are really reasonable, great even. The service was fantastic as well when we came on a weekday and past lunch hours. Food is great and tasty. They have a lot of specials everyday so make sure you check those out
I was so impressed with everything about this restaurant. If you want the Maine lobster experience this is your place. We arrived as the place opened at 11:00 an adorable hostess came out with the biggest smile and welcomed the crowd waiting flipped over the open sign and began seating the guests. A
Great lunch. Wife had Haddock Chowder and I had the Haddock sandwich. They gave me mozzarella cheese sticks in place of fries and I threw the marinara sauce on the sandwich - boom. Lunch is served. Great little stop and worth pulling over for a meal. Great staff, and can you believe Coke and Pepsi
We arrived and were seated promptly. We ordered fried clams with bellies, lobster stew, loaded, potato, skins, pickled beets, and butternut squash The clams and potatoes and beets and squash were awesome! The lobster stew was good but a bit bland. Our waitress was very nice.
Anglers is a terrific place where out-of-towners mingle with the local regulars. The food is ample and delicious, not just the seafood but meats too. I favor liver and onions with mashed potatoes (granted not everyone’s cup of tea) it came perfectly prepared. Service was pleasant and attentive. Addi
We frequently eat here and have always had a super-positive experience! A down-homey and unpretentious feel. One of the few places that offer fried oysters! Staff are delightful. Good portions. Our go-to seafood place. Just celebrated our 36th anniversary here.
A must-stop restaurant! My husband and I got the haddock sandwiches, pickle chips, and hand cut chips and everything was cooked to perfection. We also got the Angler shrimp Mary and crown peach tea, absolutely delicious as well. It's a real shame we don't live closer, I would visit at least once a w
A family friendly restaurant on the way to points north (and south) for us. We return as often as we can. The welcome is genuine, the food is very good. The atmosphere is warm, honoring those who bring in the fish. There is a particular respect for veterans and a table set in their honor, for thos
This was a nice surprise. I had fish and chips. The batter on the fish was nice and lights and the chips were sliced potatoes deep fried. Those were real good. Since I was on vacation, I had some blueberry vodka drink which was a special and they did not skimp on the alcohol. People across from
Great food. Huge portions and very reasonably priced!!
i’d call it classic deep fried seafood…. batter was a little heavy and greasy for our party. the lobster roll was very good according to one of our crew. service was excellent.
Very happy with this find. Driving from NY to Acadia and need to find restaurant by pretty late. Not too many restaurants opens at 7:30 and offers Maine's local catch. We wasn't big fan of fried stuff, but Anglers made it right. The fried baby shrimp has a light coating and are very sweet. The lobs
We ordered take-out for dinner from Anglers Restaurant. Having read the reviews we knew it would be comfort type food. I ordered the fish & chips and my husband ordered the pot roast. We also ordered sides of onion rings and fried pickles. Large portions and everything was as we expected from a loca
Stopped in for a bit to eat and it was delicious! The staff was very accommodating for our large party and they were happy to help. Very well kept place and very delicious food 😋 10/10 would eat here again
So good! Unassuming place with some fishing related decor, we came for dinner 9 minutes before th we'd kitchen closed, and they still made a perfect meal for us. Had the NE clam chowder (delicious! )and the Wednesday fried fish special with home fried potato chips, and when they say perfectly fried,
The hand cut fries and onion rings delicious. The haddock fresh and Cole slaw good. Hostess very nice and menu diverse and homemade! I hope when (if) season ends though, they will replace the foul (really gross) carpet with some easy to clean vinyl. It makes you feel like you're eating in an uncle
