The new owners are completely friendly and the food was awesome. They make you feel at home. I come here almost everyday trying everything on their menu. I havent found anything I don't love. Support your local mom and pop shops! I highly recommend this place. Where else can you eat a great meal at a good price and look out on Clear Lake? Forget the chain places, this place has heart.

We were visiting the area for a weekend trip and my husband picked this restaurant based on good reviews They are not wrong! Everything was delicious! We finished our plate! Waffles are light. Eggs are fluffy. Hashbrown is soft and crispy on the outside, bacon has sweetness to it which I like very much. Service was great and food was excellent. The ceiling can use some fixing and remodeling.

This place was amazing. Ray was our waitress and she was so helpful. Great recommendations know the menu very well. It’s a small cozy. Place to share a good cup of coffee. You know it’s good you know it’s good because the locals eat here to. The pancake was so good that I forgot to take a picture but yes, stop by and enjoy great customer service and a delicious cup of coffee.

It was a busy holiday weekend but we didn’t have to wait for a table or to be greeted by our server, Maddie. She was a super friendly & attentive college student. Other servers checked on us throughout our visit too. I got the Daily & subbed my side for oatmeal. Everything was hot fresh & delicious. For every bite of oatmeal I had a piece of fruit. Our table was promptly cleared as we finished by a sweet lady. I actually live in Denver but get to come here occasionally when I visit my sister. A few of the servers may have tattoos but so do I & I feel right at home here. Much better than some big chain breakfast spot. Prices are pretty good for the portion sizes too. I’m sure I’ll be back on my next visit.

Great service and food! Portions were large Immediate service with no wait We would definitely recommend this restaurant to others The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because the bacon wasn’t crispy in my husbands omelet and the cheese wasn’t added to my scrambled eggs. But please don’t let that deter you from eating here. In all honesty we will eat here again if we are in the area!

I had the chicken and waffles. From previous reviews and photos shared by previous customers , I assumed they were chicken wings , I should have asked. Anyways , it was chicken breast and it was tasty. The waffles were also fluffy. My husband had the eggs and sausage and he liked it. My hot chocolate seemed like it was just cocoa or cocoa mixed with hot water. Next time I’ll ask if I can have it with milk. The yogurt/berries and granola was fine but they literally put a teaspoon of granola. Overall, it was a good experience

They give tremendous attention to customers. They greeted everyone and the cup where never empty. The place was clean and food was good. It could have been seasoned a bit more. Portion sizes where just right leaving you full but no too stuffed.

Food was delicious, prices very reasonable. It's a small town diner, homey feel. Everyone was extremely nice. Wait staff very attentive.

Always top notch food and service. Their country fried steak and bacon avocado benedict are especially noteworthy. Pictured today is "The Driller" with two strips of crispy bacon, two thick (and kinda amazing) sausage patties, three eggs over easy, cheesy grits and sourdough toast. All excellent! Highly recommended! --Danny Lee, REALTOR

This was a cozy little place. It seemed very popular. I had to wait a few minutes for my table. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I knew right away that I wanted to try the crab cakes eggs Benedict. It was very tasty, but the sauce looked a little bit broken and needed a little pepper. Other than that, it was very delicious. I like the fresh fruit as well. My food came rather quickly, and the staff was continuously checking on me to see if I needed anything. So, pretty good food and really good service. I'll probably go back next time I'm in town and try some other options.
