We have been going to this restaurant for years and have always had great food and a bartender that could make a delicious drink. My friend and I went there recently after a Matinee at the Scr cultural ctr. It h admit that I didn't make a reservation but.......I wish that Chrissy had told us that there were no tables. if we could have our drink and dinner in 45minutes then she could get us a table.worst was What a nightmare...we should have went elsewhere. My cocktail was so bad I couldn't drink it. By the time that got adjusted by Gwen, our server, our appetizers were delivered and the remaining food was piled up on the table. So much for a leisurely dinner. We ended up taking most of it home.
But for me the.

Tasty food and cocktails. Im not Celiac but have a extreme gluten sensitivity. Sidels could turn pretty much anything gluten free and are very aware of allergies. Waiters were super friendly, gave great recommendations, and handled large parties of people well. I would recommend them to anyone and would keep them in my back pocket for a second visit to Scranton

The food, the drinks, and the staff are all fantastic! They’re personal, they’re clean, and they just have a great restaurant. We’ll definitely be back! :)

Food was good. It was lobster night. Service was slow to get waited on. But food came out pretty fast.

Check didn't add up !
They tried to say we were charged a 20 %
Tip for requesting 2 checks. They never
Told us about adding the 20% tip nor was it listed on our check
And since we weren't told we tipped on check amount even though 20% was already added.
We won't eat there again or the others we
dined with.

I randomly found this place. They said it was lobster night so that’s what I had! For an appetizer I had the fried green tomatoes topped with lump crab and remoulade. Then I had the lobster with crab on top. It was delicious. It also came with a salad and bread and butter. I would definitely go back when I’m in town again.

Tried this place on Friday evening around 7pm. We were seated quickly and given the low down on all the specials of the evening. We tried the Manicotti and the lobster fra Diablo. The Manicotti was excellent and full of flavor. The lobster had a great flavor but the seafood that was in it ( clams, lobster, shrimp) were overcooked to the point of hard bites. Our drinks ran dry twice during the evening and for that the tip was reflected. At the end of the meal when the waitress asked how our meal was we let her know of the dislike of the seafood and she took the plate to the back. When she returned she reduced the price of the lobster fra Diablo from $28.95 down to $16.95. in her statement she said that she couldn't do any better without calling a manager. I had about 7 bites out of the entire plate and didn't even get to take the rest home to pick out the seafood out of it. I was displeased with the service. The waitress tried to make amends with a piece of cake, and that was displeasing also. Sorry to say this was not the best experience with this establishment.

Overall- unsure if I would eat here again.
Too expensive vs the quality and price in the food dishes.
Friday evening 7pm dinner
We were greeted and seated right away.
Bread and butter was provided while we waited. The bread slices were fresh and tasty.
We ordered the Lobster Fra Diablo and manicotti.
Each dish came with a salad. The salad wasn't impressive; mostly iceberg salad mix with a piece of spinach and arugula on top to cover it, 3 olives, 1 slice of cucumber, 3 slices of radish, and a sliver of tomato. Oh! If you want ceasar dressing it's an up charge too.
The manicotti was delicious, absolutely nothing to complain about there.
The Lobster Fra Diablo had great flavor BUT all the seafood (lobster, clams, and shrimp were so over cooked they were hard and rubbery).
Why so few stars? The waitress didn't check in on us while we ate. When she came back with our check and to take our plates we advised of the over cooked seafood. She didn't offer to have it remade or replaced with anything else and they didn't remove it from the bill. Instead, they discounted the dish from $28.95 to $16.95. She said it's all she could do "without making a phone call".
She did provide a complimentary piece of cake. Which was a nice gesture but pretty disgusting (maybe we just don't like whatever kind of sponge cake it was supposed to be?! The chocolate frosting tasted exactly like pillsbury chocolate frosting out of a can from the grocery store and the cake had an odd flavor.)
We were disappointed in our experience.
For the price we expected fantastic food all around.
Unfortunately we will probably stick with Olive Garden for this kind of food. Where prices are more reasonable and food is consistently good.
