I ordered a footlong cheese steak, a chicken cheese steak, and a large order of cheese fries all with their wiz cheese sauce. The regular cheese steak was tasty and had plenty of meat and I enjoyed it. My fiancé had the chicken cheesesteak that I tried as well and we both agree that the chicken could have had more flavor. The cheese fries were also decent, but the price didn't seem to reflect the serving and there was a gross burnt fry in the mix. If everything we ordered was the same quality as the regular cheesesteak this review would be a 5/5, but sadly this wasn't the case.

It's very very rare that we write a negative review, but unfortunately this one is totally deserved. I've had a lot of cheesesteaks in my life, and this for sure was the driest one I've ever had. The steak was dry itself, the cheese was minimal, it wasn't seasoned well...really I could keep going too but I don't want to tear this place down. I'm hoping they just had a really bad day, but this was easily one of the worst cheesesteaks I've ever had.

I’ve eaten in and outside during lockdown. Cosmos has very good cheese steaks and fries. The beef is of decent quality, bread is fresh and overall tasty. The inside is clean and the staff are polite. Cosmo’s comes in second to me but probably the best in the whole valley. Philly steaks in Stroudsburg on Main Street I rate #1 and Tony Luke’s at The casino comes in last. I was a professional cook for a decade so this is my humble yet professional review. Photo shows beef cheese steak and loaded fries with bacon and cheese, I recommend, cheers.

Found Cosmo's by accident. However, they prepared my group order properly, with no issues and with great quality. Each of the guys I bought food for preferred it over a previous restaurant I was buying cheese steaks from. Looks like we have found a different location to order from....

Why would you put the cheese wiz on top and then wrap it up? All of the cheese was stuck to paper and all over roll. Why not just spread it on the roll before you put the steak in wouldn’t that make sense? First and last time ordering!

Ordered 2 volcano chicken cheese steaks, no lettuce and no blue cheese on one. Both were wrong no hot sauce or blue cheese. Took them back, they replaced them. They were wrong again, this time they added lettuce after I specifically said only cheese chicken and hot sauce. Come on people get your act together! The worse part about it is the young lady working the window said she checked them, they were right. I took her word for it. Well, learned my lesson, should of looked at them before I left. Based on this experience I won’t be eating there anytime soon again. 😢

Wonderful place! Delicious food to say the least! Just moved here to Scranton and found my new fave! Also Sam P. and Gianna were two of the most gracious and cortious hosts I've seen in a long time! I work in hospitality and it was nice to have great food and great workers that obviously love where they work! I'll be back and I will definitely tell everyone about the best cheesesteaks in Scranton hands down! Loved your volcano 🌋 fries as well...thank you! Not to mention to awesome servers that smiled while they work!
