A Delightful Morning at Luci's at the Grove
My recent breakfast experience at Luci's at the Grove was a pleasant surprise. As a first-timer, the counter service was unexpected, but it certainly didn't spoil our overall experience.
Our party of four decided to try different dishes from their diverse menu. The star of the morning was undoubtedly the Funky Monkey French Toast. This dish was an absolute delight and brilliantly prepared with a balance of flavors that danced on our taste buds. It was a clear winner and a must-try for any future visits.
Two of us opted for the Traditional Breakfast, which was well-executed. The eggs were cooked to perfection, just as we had requested, making it a solid, satisfying choice. It was a comforting reminder of the classic breakfast we all know and love.
The final dish we sampled was the Biscuits and Gravy. The dish was aesthetically pleasing, arriving with a presentation that immediately caught our eye. The gravy scored a respectable 3.8 out of 5 - it may not be the best we've ever tasted, but it was certainly above average, with a decent depth of flavor.
Overall, Luci's at the Grove provided a wonderful breakfast experience. The staff was friendly and efficient, and the food was delicious. Despite the counter service system, everything ran smoothly, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting.

It's hard to go wrong with any Luci's! This location has all the charm of any Luci's but with its Scottsdale twist. The shop is a great place to find unique gifts that are Scottsdale and Arizona centric.
We stopped by for breakfast: a Sunrise Omelet and Monkey-Bread French Toast. The omelet was standard and very tasty. The French Toast was tender and honored monkey bread without being overly sweet! There are also many options for dietary restrictions and they are very gluten free friendly!
Went to Luci’s serendipitously last night! What a beautiful environment it had. I would recommend this for anyone traveling through Arizona to make this one of their stop destinations. The ambience was beautiful.
We just stumbled upon this place. High quality healthy food but what really made this place stand out is one of the employees: Marco. So refreshing to have excellent customer service again. Genuinely caring. Observant. Helpful and cheery! Will be back just to see him again.
What a surprise this place is. You have to order at the counter but they will serve you. Look for Marco he's an awesome gentlemen and will greet you and even bring you drinks. Lots of parking, prices reasonable for the area. Put it on your list.
Luci's is a can't-miss, 3-meal and drinks place highlighted by tremendous atmosphere and staff to match. Marco (pictured) runs the place, and he makes sure he knows you and that you're happy. This is the kind of place where the young people working here value the job-- they get the best of the kids-- and that makes a big difference.
If all of these good attributes weren't enough, they get a reasonable price for a cuppa coffee, not this ridiculous $5.50/cup that you see at so many other places.
I love the newest addition to the Luci eateries! It’s a gorgeous new building with a 1200 square foot outdoor covered patio with a fireplace and misters as needed. The same delicious food and lots of room to browse and shop the curios, collectibles and novelties! My partner and I recently stopped by for dinner and I ordered the Luci Burger (half-pound grass fed ground sirloin, applewood bacon, pickled onions, sautéed mushrooms, pepper jack cheese on brioche bun) and it was cooked perfectly to order. Also got a side salad which was probably the best side salad! My partner ordered his favorite the Daily Grinder Melt sandwich with pepperoni, hard salami, black forest ham, provolone cheese, fresh greens, tomato, red onion, Italian Guardiniera on Artisan bread also with a side salad. Delicious! The staff is friendly, prompt and does a really great job! Look forward to coming here again soon.
We had a great experience for lunch. The line went quick and we found a place to sit without a problem - key with kids. There was the nicest oldest gentleman that came over repeatedly and asked us if we needed anything and chatted with us. The kids enjoyed looking at all the gifts in the store area. Kids had French toast, and we had omelettes. I had the Greek omelette and like a lot of cheese on my omelette and there was no cheese inside unfortunately. I also didn't love the potatoes on the side. Overall though we liked it - I would probably just try something else next time.

I just love this place. We came on a Thursday evening, and they had live music by the outdoor fireplace. Good food, trendy adult books, children's books, and cute little nicknacks and trinkets to shop for.
This place was so good! My brother and I were staying at McCormick ranch resort right down the street and if we had known about this place the whole time we would have had breakfast every day here. The outdoor dining is relaxing and the fireplace is nice to sit next to on the cool morning's. Try the pancakes with pecans and bananas you can't go wrong!
