From one Chef to another Chef, the food was amazing. I rarely find a spot that the food and service are outstanding, this was that place.
We ordered the corn beef Rueben and Chicago beef. They both were remarkably flavorful and prepared well. The wings simply fall off the bone. My brother got them tossed in the peach bbq sauce.
This is a place I will definitely return with each visit to this city.

Stats show that my reviews have been read 330,000 times. And in all my reviews I believe I have awarded five stars perhaps four times. So when I give this place five stars it's because I really want you to try it!
So, the owner is a (very proud) Veteran turned businessman in the food service industry. He is a hard working guy with great ideas on the customer experience. He also owns a local butcher shop and this is his source for these grass fed USDA Prime cuts. You see that - Prime! His price for a nice piece of prime is ten dollars below all the nearby steak houses charge for Choice! And their meats come from the back of a Sysco truck, which is not the case at the Bourbon Cellar.
And with his connections this includes fresh fish. And this is a scratch kitchen, which is common enough in the greater Phoenix area that I don't know why anyone would go out to a serious dinner anywhere but a scratch kitchen.
Nice bar with a few high-tops. Nice patio areas with a water feature. The place is clearly geared for people to enjoy outdoor dining. No - I still don't like non-chain restaurants being located in strip malls, but I have to accept this is the norm in the area. But it also means you can find a parking space, and do some walking around, maybe get some chores done.
Staff are exceptional, tell Autumn hello for me. She is clearly a disciple of the place and sings its praises with great eloquence. Just walk inside and inhale - the kitchen scents will drive you to order something. Bring an apatite because this is not a place that sends you home hungry. Even something simple like a lunchtime Ruben will feed a family.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE I felt my cool factor going up just walking in this place! Great atmosphere really a nice look, good vibe, and super cool staff! We were there right when they opened so there weren't many people yet, the waitress said the place really gets hopping. I can't wait to go there for dinner and drinks in the evening. Everything is farm to table they own a butcher shop, and all of the meat is grown and butchered locally. They have a spectacular meat menu, seafood, salad, amazing appetizers... The menu is HUGE, and DIVERSE! I had a steak salad that was EXCEPTIONAL. Look at their menu online. I found out about the Bourbon Cellar from a recommendation by Google maps and I'm really glad I went. It's like this place was built "just for me!" I've already rambled on for to Long but I would be remiss if I didn't mention that this elegant, top notch steak, seafood, and salad restaurant is EXTREMELY AFFORDABLE I couldn't believe the food and experience I had for the price. Would I recommend this place to a friend? Hell yes! I'm going to take all my friends there just to show I know where one of the most elegant, casual cocktail restaurants in town is. I was talking to my server she said they just moved to this location because their last location wasn't big enough anymore. I believe that 100%! After you go there come back here and give me a thumbs up so other people know that it's not just me that thinks this is a great place.

Enjoyed everything about this place. The food, the service, the atmosphere. Absolutely loved the bloody Mary mix they use. The place was spotless, open, and artistic. Planning on making it a regular spot when in the area.

Me and my son went here to end the day. We walked in and immediately greeted by everyone working. The owner was there and a awesome guy. He took the time to talk to us and ask how are day was going. The server was super attentive and very nice. Food came fast and was amazing. We had the nachos and the filet with chili and load bake potato. This is hands down a scratch restrant with quality meat!! 10 starts all the way!!!!!
Love this place. A recent discovery and a great one. Dog friendly, people friendly, Vet friendly.
The smoked meat is excellent as is the crispy cauliflower.

The Bourbon Cellar is relaxed, no pressure from wait staff, great casual ambiance, great music, clean, and absolutely delicious farm-to-table food. If you like exotics, try the elk, venison, or bison! You can get steaks, burgers, and seafood here. Extensive wine/beer/liquor list. We'll be back, and we're bringing our friends with us. Highly, Highly Recommend.
Again, in my search of places that serve wild game in scottsdale AZ area, I found this nugget of happiness. Venison elk or bison burgers. It's such a cool place. The owner is amazing, so much fun. Thank you for your service and such a good experience. I'm so glad I found this place. Loved the artwork and atmosphere. Thank you.
What a great restaurant. Doug does an outstanding job with the food he makes. The deviled eggs are the best along with all the other menu items. Doug is a huge supporter of veterans. Thank you!
