This is my favorite place in the entire Phoenix area! I’ve been coming here for many years , especially for birthdays or celebrations, as it has something special! It never disappoints. Tonight, our server was Al Glover, he was very great at making us feel special! He gave us enough time to look at the menu and explained the questions we had about the food. He is a friendly guy and gave us the attention every guest wants without rushing us. Back to the food now! The food came pretty quick , we didn’t have to wait very long , we spent in total about 1.5 hours, that included out time to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. We got two cocktails, Bourbon & Boujee- the best, and 5 diamond manhattan, we ordered an appetizer Veal & Black garlic meatballs ( you won’t regret getting them - super good), and then the fish of the day ( the portion is pretty small) and a side of Crispy potatoes and then also the Mowry’s Big Burger ( cooked medium well done plus if I remember right ). I have to say that it was the best burger I ate in a restaurant.
I can’t wait to go back , definitely don’t miss this place , you’ll feel like on vacation if you are local. And if you visit from out of town, check it out for a wonderful Arizona experience.
Parking is free in the self parking garage , just ask at the restaurant for validation , to avoid the $10 fee
This place is absolutely amazing. Very friendly and attentive service. Big thank you to Lexi and Tom for making our stay so pleasant.
Had great conversations with Brad and Blaze! Who were making sure that birds don’t bother us while eating.
All in all 5stars!
We will definitely come back.
Thank you so much!
Everything was excellent! We sat outside overlooking the gorgeous pool area. The umbrellas offered perfect shade. We ordered breakfast & it was excellent! Highly recommend.
Not sure why this place has so many negative reviews. First thing you need to find the parking, rather then driving all the way upto main entrance, park in the underground parking its $10 for 4 hours, but restaurants validates the parking.
Service here is great, staff is super polite and very considerate to your needs. Food here was decent, had shakshuka and chicken sandwich. Broiche bread for the sandwich was super soft and shakshuka was very flavorful.
We were in town visiting from Charlotte celebrating our anniversary, and we scheduled our celebration dinner here. They far exceeded our expectation. We are fans of the TV show the Bull, and there is an episode om season two on how to make visiting a restaurant memorable. Well, they took one right out of that show. They wished us Happy Anniversary, treated us exceptionally well, made us feel special, right down to dessert! Thank you for giving us a great experience and dinner!
Superb setting for a nice brunch! The indoor decor is nice and the outdoor patio is fantastic.
The breakfast was nice, huevos rancheros were very well made. The berries bowl could have been a bit more fresh. The service was great. As you would expect from a higher end hotel the prices here are very high, however you will enjoy the experience.
The highlight was a hawk they carry to keep all the birds off. 🥰
We came in on Friday night with our extremely overtired 2 year old. The manager greeted us with a stuffed hawk which was the cutest gesture this Mama has ever seen at a restaurant. The food and service were superb. A colleague met us for dinner and the waiter was very respectful of our time. After my son had a meltdown and got swept away upstairs to go to sleep, we spent a lot of time catching up. Adam kept and eye on our drinks and only came over to ask if we need a refill. When it was time for the check, we had to ask for it which was actually awesome. We weren’t rushed out at all. I had a lovely experience and look forward to returning when we come back. (We also had breakfast there every morning and that was also fantastic)
We visited Mowry & Cotton while staying at The Phoenician for lunch. The restaurant is located on the pool side of the resort with indoor and outdoor seating available. The sausage flatbread was incredible. Some of the best flatbread I’ve ever had. We also tried the guacamole, barbacoa beef tacos, and duck carnitas. We left quite stuffed. Would give them a try again for brunch if ever back in the area.
Dinner is menu is very short and very expensive. Lunch and breakfast is good 😊
We read many raving reviews of Mowry & Cotton’s breakfast menu but were sad to see that 3 weeks before our trip, all the AM reservations for our 5 day stay were booked. We decided to walk up one morning during our stay and check to see if they could squeeze us in. Surprisingly, on a Saturday morning, the wait was only 25-30 minutes. We were pleased with this as we could go back to our room or anywhere nearby and wait since they texted us once our table was ready.
While the food is a little over priced (to be expected for resort restaurants) we really enjoyed our breakfast here! We had the Huevos Rancheros, Avocado Toast, and the Açaí Bowl. ALL delicious! A little smaller portions than The Phoenician Tavern but quality was A++!
Andrew was our waiter and he did excellent in providing us great service, informing us of his favorite dishes, and just being all around kind and enthusiastic!
