Preston's is one of the best steakhouses in the Valley! We were there for our anniversary so they surprised us with rose petals on the table and a free dessert. The staff and management are extremely accommodating and friendly. And above all else, the food is amazing. Their prices have gone up a little recently, but it is still well worth it!

Preston’s is one of the better steak houses around the Phoenix/ Scottsdale area. They have a well diverse menu and the price point is better than most steak houses. Great service, drinks and their butter cake is to die for. We eat at Preston’s at least twice a month.

We celebrated our pre-wedding anniversary at Preston’s Steakhouse Scottsdale and it was an unforgettable experience! The food was absolutely amazing - we both had the steak and it was cooked to perfection. The service was also top-notch, our waiter was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The restaurant itself is beautiful, with a modern and elegant atmosphere. We would definitely recommend Preston’s Steakhouse Scottsdale for a special occasion!

Multiple people recommended Preston’s so I finally had to see for myself. Parking was easy, staff were incredible from the moment you walk in, and the atmosphere is lively but intimate. For food: Their steaks are some of the best I’ve ever had. Side dishes are well made. Desserts simple and delicious.
Only surprising downside was the wine list. For a high end steakhouse they had very mediocre wine options. But that shouldn’t deter people from trying this great restaurant!

We sat at the bar! Really enjoyed our drinks and appetizers. Followed up by soup and salad and finished with a 14oz Delmonico steak!!! It was our third time at Preston's and will definitely NOT be our last time at Preston.

Overlooked as one of the best steakhouses/fish houses in the Valley. Beautiful spacious place with high quality food and service. I ordered fish this time but the Kansas City Strip is one of the best steaks I have ever eaten anywhere. They also have an extensive assortment of fish. Professional and attentive service and the manager checks to see if everything is alright. The swordfish is excellent. Juicy, cooked and seasoned perfectly in a generous portion. The house salad has fresh ingredients, served on a cold plate with delicious home made dressing. The broccoli is good. Just enough seasoning, served hot, in a large enough portion for 2-3 people.

I was a disappointment that my steak was over cooked when it was supposed to be pink in the middle. It was all brown. But still delicious. The butter cake was dry and some of the fruit was a little past their prime. However, I would go back because this might have been an off day for them.
Great place for a date night or a family get together.

A nice hidden gem in North Scottsdale. Sat in the courtyard right next to their little lagoon/creek setup and it was a nice sight and a sign of the deliciousness ahead. Wife and I had the Rhode Island Calamari that was delicious! Wife had the Cadillac Margarita and I had Berry Lemon Drop, they were fantastic! The complimentary bread basket was warm and tasty! Our main courses consisted of the Farm raised salmon and mashed potatoes (wife) and 22 oz porterhouse steak and Brussel Sprouts (little on the burnt side, but still bomb), both dishes were awesome and well-worth the druvr and cost! All made possible by our FANTASTIC waitress, Jennifer. Definitely coming back.

My fiancé and I came here for my birthday and it was amazing (as always). Ambiance is great. Service is phenomenal. Food is absolute perfection. Zero complaints. My only feedback is that I wish I was better and could find a way to eat here every week. Love Preston’s! 10/10.

If anyone has not eaten at Preston’s in Scottsdale then you haven’t had the best steak in Scottsdale. Preston’s has the only steak house with a salt cellar to dry age their beef. The owner of Preston’s was with Mastro’s and started his own steak house. Mastro’s still uses his original recipes. Best steak for the best price and their service is excellent. Thank you Bob for our superior service and we’ve also had Lori as our server and she is just as superior. Great Job Charles for your management!!!

We had a nice high top table in the bar. The quality of the food was quite good however the shrimp and scallops were a tad small on the mixed grill plate. Asparagus over done yet tasty. Drinks were good, yet we had to chase the server at times. Admittedly, the bar was busy which is a good sign! We retired upstairs to listen to Jimmy play piano! What a treat he played Laura which my father named me after that song! Set outside under the stars for a final glass of wine. Lovely evening!

We tried the pork wings! Oh yes these are going on my catering menu! Italian Beef sandwiche...good. I ordered the trio of steak,scallops,shrimp. Very tasty. The scallops were excellent. Calamari with baby corn. I loved it.
Oh and an excellent Preston's salad with grilled Copper River Salmon!
Topped off with Creme Burlee and Key Lime pie . The three of us enjoyed.
Oh don't forget the yummy iced gin martini!

Went for mothers day dinner with my mom. We live in seattle and we are used to good seafood, so a little hesitant to get seafood in scottsdale. But omg am i happy we did. Our experience from the time we walked in the door to the time we left was absolutely the best.
Our meal, hands down was one of the best meals ive ever had. We had the oysters and crab cake for our app. So good. Best crab cake we've ever had. Then we had 2 of the steaks, green beans and mashed potatoes. My mom added the lobster tail on hers and the lobster was cooked to profection. The food sizes were big too!! The food from start to finish was so delicious. Now i understand what people mean when they savor every bite.
Highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for quality over quantity. The best part? I thought the bill would be around $260 but it only came out to $192.

Service was great, Landon was our server and was definitely on top of everything. Food came out promptly, and our drinks were never empty. The food was incredible. Our table of 4 had prime rib, filet, Porterhouse, and lobster. Everything was amazing!

Everything we ordered was delicious started off with a French onion soup calamari cheese platter and Lamb chops. You must try the lamb chops!!!

We will definitely go back because food was delicious. We had Delmonico and spinach salad and Del and creamed spinach. Sp salad had no eggs but no one around to ask. Listed on menu. Slow refilling water. Entrees came with salads not cleared. Then no steak knife. Need to work on service but food was excellent.

The food and the service at Preston's is stellar! The steaks and fish are terrific and if you can't make up your mind ask your server if you can have a split, one night One evening I felt like Seabass and lobster, they gave me both. If their is something on the bar side that ypu really like ( like the petite filet, scallops, asparagus, and miso sauce) you can get it on the dining area. Our favorite servers are Laura and Robert.

It's expensive for a reason. If you want the best you have to pay for the quality. The steak is perfectly cooked to your taste and is absolutely without equal. The sides are good but max and cheese, even "artisan" Mac and cheese is not worth $14.99.
In short,
The overall experience is great the main part of the meal is well worth it the sides however are too expensive.

Great experience at Preston's this weekend with the family for my birthday celebration. We had been before and loved it. We booked for 8 and were given the private "chef's" room. All meals, sides and starters were amazing including the green beans, loaded mashed potatoes, Chilean Sea bass, Rib Eye's, and a very special butter cake dessert. I would recommend them to anyone as our waiter and servers were excellent and very attentive!

We were in town for Barrett Jackson car auction for 4 nights. We found Preston's on the 2nd night and ate there the last 3 nights. Food is amazing - both steak and seafood as well as sides. The swordfish was the best I've ever had!! If I'm ever in the area again, they have my business.

We are huge fans of Preston’s and eat there many times a year. We went for Valentines Day. Food was amazing but the service was not. I know they were fully booked but we had to wait a very long time for everything.....20 minutes for a drink....1 hour for food....20 minutes for our check after we asked for it. It was a bit disappointing. Food was delicious but probably will not go on holidays anymore.
