Chase was an amazing server and even suggested I should have a seat and relax. Waited an extra half hour for the prime rib to come out.... effing delicious. Thanx for a great time and an even better meal . I’ll come back to Scottsdale just for the smoked prime rib!!!!
John the executive Chef creates amazing menu items. i would highly recommend this unique and one of kind restaurant for a pleasurable and enjoyable dinning experience. best home style bbq in town!
Delicious Brisket. The only thing I’m sad about is that I can’t eat everything on the menu! The staff is friendly Chris is very professional and good at his job. The brisket is delicious the coleslaw is amazing! I’m definitely coming back for the French dip!!
I should have ordered the brisket but went for the prime rib. I would suggest the brisket. We had the bacon platter and that was awesome! We had a number of starters and all of them were exceptional. The nachos and jalapeño poppers very delicious. The location was very convenient. The drink selection of beers and whiskeys was also great. We went with a very large group and the service was great. They had multiple people ensuring that all of our drinks and other requests were cared for. In all it was a good time and I would suggest checking it out.
Decided to try a new place. Food tasted great, no complaints about the food taste, temperature, presentation, or service. But with all that said, it is not your new place you try and want to go back regularly, it's your type of place for special occasions all because of the pricing. Way overpriced for the food you get. Examples: Jalapeños poppers- you get 3 pieces -Jalapeños cut half bacon wrapped. That is 1 and 1/2 Jalapeños bacon wrapped for 15.00. Pulled pork sandwich 21.00, frys added is 3.00 more. I opted to get mashed potatoes as an upcharge of 11.00. I ordered the peach lemonade ice tea moonshine drink but it was so light, I referred to it as a refresher. No buzz, at all, even after the entire drink before food arrived. I expected more with moonshine. Slight disappointment but the food tasted good, but won't be a new regular food place due to the pricing for what you get. Someone is a little too proud of their food as proven by the overpriced menu.
I cannot rave about this place enough!!! The staff is over the top AMAZING, my 5 year old nephew went around our group of 10 and asked what we each rated our food as and the entire group was 9 and 10's ❤️ we are in Phoenix from Minnesota and made it a requirement to go back to this location and have dinner with our entire group, we will be back every time we come town!! Oh yes 21+ try the moonshine, made in house and OMG delicious 🤤🤤 I didn't get any pictures tonight because everyone was having too much fun talking but here is our meal from our anniversary dinner in July and everything tonight was just as mouth watering good!
We live in Phoenix & decided to try this place, while checking out Old Town's Christmas atmosphere. We sat at the bar & Stephanie is a GREAT bartender. She was very knowledgeable of the menu & drink options. Hubby & I split the prime rib (Midwest approved) dinner. Highly recommend it, as well as the grilled corn and ask Stephanie about their homemade Apple Pie Moonshine. It is flippin delicious!!! Will definitely come back.
First time on a Sunday funday. Great food. Surprised it wasn't more busy. Laid back atmosphere. Definitely will be back.
Amazing fried Mac and cheese balls and great bacon wrapped jalapeño… had the brisket sandwich. A little dry. But some bbq sauce helped it. I for sure want to come back and try other stuff. The staff was super nice and food came out quick.

We have been coming to Bootleggers for years. We stumbled across it back in 2018 and made it a point to frequent when we were in the area.
This evening was great. Food and service were on point. The gentleman walking around, who we believe was a manager, was very friendly and assertive. Holding the door open for patrons was a nice touch. You don't find good service like that anymore.
We will absolutely be back. Keep up the great work!
Excellent restaurant for drinks or dinner. We have enjoyed dining at two different locations and had great service and food in both places. The atmosphere is vibrant and our server was personable and took great care of us. We had the special prime rib and it was one of the largest cuts I have ever had. It is a great location in Scottsdale to walk around and see all the shops and enjoy the sights.
The bootlegger burger is the second best burger of my life. I've eaten a lot of burgers in a lot of countries over several decades. Really great combination of flavors and cooked exactly as I ordered it. Melts in your mouth good. I usually take home leftovers but ended up overeating and eating every single bite. The sweet potato fries were crisp on the outside and moist on the inside. Perfect. If the prices were lower we'd come much more often.
