Excellent. Husband had traditional pizza and our friend had calzone. They made me best vegan pizza ever (they can customize one for you without meat and/ or cheese) and crust is so delicious. Never better anywhere else. Our favorite pizza place now!
Grimaldi’s is my go to place, love the staff, Greg and Karla are wonderful. The pizza is the best I have had and Tuesday’s are half price wine, who could ask for more? 🍕🍷❤️❤️❤️
Wow...The Don is an amazing pizza packed with lots of meatballs, sausage, and pepperoni. The kids were hesitant to break from their traditional pepperoni but glad they were open to new toppings. Atmosphere can be a bit loud at times but well worth dining in or sitting on the patio.
I’m always down for “real” pizza. Cooked over fire, and in this case coal.
My visit was a quick lunch stop. The bartender was very friendly and helpful, and even pushed my order ahead as I was short on time.
The pizza came out still steaming, perfectly browned crust.
Overall I give the pizza a 7.5/10. It was good, but lacked something.
All and all I enjoyed it but $27 for a 12” pizza and a soda is a little on the high side.
While vacationing in Scottsdale we stopped into Grimaldi's for a late night "pie". We were sat immediately in their lounge area which is a good size and had multiple tv's on with sporting events. My girlfriend and I ended up sharing a salad and a gluten-free pizza. Both portion sizes were perfect. Restaurant was very clean and had a great New York vibe. Our only negative was the server didn't check up on us until it was time for the bill. Overall it was a pretty good experience, will most likely be back.
Overall it was a really nice atmosphere to eat dinner. Ate on the patio and loved the views and exposure we had to old town Scottsdale. The service was mediocre. Our food came quick but we had to ho back in and ask for waters and a couple of other things. Ordered the Margherita pizza and sausage pizza. Pizza was good if you like thin style. The crust is very coarse so if you don't like crunchy then it may not be for you. Bill was about $45 before tip. Glad I went but probably wouldn't go back.
The food was great! The pizza was fabulous and the service was good! I didn’t like how loud it was but I understand why it was this way. I highly recommend going!

Fantastic Pizza! Great pizza joint!
Went there to pick up the pizza. Had a couple of beers at the bar. Everyone was friendly, great service. The place was happening as there’s a car show in town but there’s plenty of seating patio area, covered patio area. We took it home and build a fire outside had wine and pizza and it was the most amazing time. I highly recommend it anytime you’re busy to grab a pizza take it home build a fire and just have some friends over pizza is phenomenal!! Plenty of seating inside in the pizza was beyond phenomenal.!!!
We got a house salad to feel healthy and The Don pizza 12” plenty for 2 people. As you can tell from the photo we killed it.
It was so good. Didn’t need to add anything like ranch to eat it. Great atmosphere. Definitely a place to eat if your in the area.
Pizza was nice and fresh (the Don). Lemon arugula salad was great although I meant to add chicken. The antipasto was more like a charcuterie board than a salad. Not having pics we didn’t know but online pics shows. The drinks were strong. Didn’t like having ice in my martini because we asked for it to be in a round glass. Waiter was nice.
Great pizza crust. I would give it a 7.1 in "dave, barstool" terms. Nice even that makes nice pizzas. Great Old Town Scottsdale vibe but I wish it had a "calmer", more soothing inside atmosphere. It always feels like they have too many things in too close of proximity....bathrooms, dining room, kitchen. They should probably expand. And improve the decor. Step it up a bit.
Good pizza, New York style vibe with true Phoenix service... Nice outdoor tables out front.
