Sorry we missed you today—about 5 minutes after two—but we tried. We were running late from a hospital scan. We eat at the Liberty quite often, but breakfast is our favorite. The slice of country ham ( which neither of us needs) covers the plate and is perfectly cooked. Add the scrambled eggs, gravy and biscuit, a little coffee and you have perfection ! If you choose pancakes, you better just order one unless you can engulf a bunch. They are extra large— one making at least 3 at other restaurants. At lunch my favorite is the chicken and dressing. My husband always has the fried chicken. There is a variety of sides, which are prepared fresh daily. The prices are not expensive and the owner and workers are friendly and attentive. If you like “ down home country cookin “ visit the Liberty. Try it— you’ll like it!
Everything is great here- service, eggs, bacon, grits, omelets, biscuits, coffee & nice manager checks on us every time we are there! Waitresses are all super nice; coffee is never left 1/2 full, and prices are unbeatable! �
I love places like this. The food is great and the service is wonderful. Just a good ole classic country diner. Great spot to stop for breakfast. I'll definitely stop for a bite next time I'm in the area.
Have eaten here several times, when I travel to scottsboro. Food has improved alot in last year. Nightly specials are awesome. Waitress are friendly and prompt. Wud definitely recommend
We had the basic breakfast (picture below), but those pancakes 🥞 , and biscuits and gravy were delish! Prices are reasonable for the amount of food. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. Being from South Florida where southern hospitality doesn't really exist, its always nice to come to a place that makes you feel like home. See you this on the next time
Excellent place to get some of the best soul food/country cooking in Jackson County. Good selection/variety of choices of down home cooking in addition to the excellent desserts. Some of the best ice tea around too! Worth the drive any day.
Well worth the 30 min drive! This was my husband's 1st time eating here and my 1st for breakfast (I've had lunch several times) it sure won't be the last. If we lived closer we would definitely be regulars.

Food was good. Eggs were done exactly to order and as I like. Hashbrowns were really good. Coffee was also.
Im not from this area but if Im ever through here again at meal time, Liberty Restaurant will be on the agenda.
Consistently good. Breakfast all day option. Clean, quiet, and quick service from the staff. The owner always checks on your satisfaction. No complaints.
