Sadly, we have moved away from Gods country. When I go home to Thibodaux, I always make a ride to Scott to get the best boudin, cracklins, stuffed chaudin.. you name it and load up my ice chest to bring back to where we live now. In between those times and we run out. :(( I call them and talk to the best guy Mr. Damon to order and have it shipped here to my door. In our opinion its the best boudin, heck everything they have. The people that work there are the nicest you can ever hope to meet. God Bless Best Stop and all the hard workers!
They hooked me up with special made boudin. I couldn't eat something in their boudin so they special made a bunch of it for me without the ingredient. Great service, great food, and great people! Thanks Best Stop!
Anytime I’m near Lafayette, LA., I stop at The Best Stop Supermarket to pick up boxes of boudin, boudin balls, seasoned and specialty meats. By far the best boudin I’ve ever tasted and everyone I’ve introduced to them agree.
The Best Stop Supermarket located in Scott, Louisiana is absolutely AWESOME. If you want good Louisiana food than you need to stop by or go online and get some of the very best authentic Cajun food around. We haven’t stopped here in over five years due to us moving out of state. This is the first time that we have came back to this area. So we had to stop in and do some shopping. And yes the food was AMAZING. We have dreamed about this food for a long time. We highly recommend The Best Stop Supermarket.

Every visit home, I stop by the Best Stop and load up on some good food and head back to AL. Husband and son loves the fresh and smoked sausage. Usually pick up a few mini stuffed pork roast and got to have some crackling’s. No offense but the store in Scott can’t be beat. Stop by, you won’t be disappointed.
Friends from Lafayette recommended we stop on way home to Florida. It’s the bomb!! All the Louisiana classics we miss!! Do yourself a favor and stop by. Plus there’s a little diner where you can eat before you shop 😉
I grew up in Lafayette and since the 90s, this place has been a staple in the community. Their Cracklin, boudin, and stuffed chickens are the best I’ve ever had. Every time we come to visit I make sure to grab a bunch to bring back to Texas. We stopped by a couple of weeks ago and I brought my four-year-old there. I remember going to the store when I was his age! Such a great thing to see mom and Pop stores like this thrive for so many years.
While researching things for a trip through Louisiana, I came across a YouTube video for the boudin at the Best Stop. I’ve never had boudin (don’t recall seeing it anywhere in PA) so I was curious to try it.
We entered the store and noticed it was busy (good sign). After looking around we went to the hot food counter and ordered two types of boudin balls and a smoked boudin link. OMG, why hasn’t someone brought boudin to the northeast. The different boudin balls and the smoked link were absolutely delicious.
It’s been about 2 weeks since being at this place and I’m craving it. If you are anywhere close to this shop, Make sure you stop and try the boudin.
We absolutely LOVE the Best Stop! We live about an hour away but we go there about once a month to once every 2 months for their boudin and cracklin! You won’t regret going there! It’s not a big place but there’s alot of different meats there you can purchase! And there’s hot food! There’s always lots of people there!
Large parking lot for any size vehicle. They have fresh ready to eat items as well as frozen meats to bring home. Prices for frozen are not bad. The fresh items are a little pricey. The BBQ burger was ok. Cracklin was fantastic. Boudain was flavorful too!
The Best Stop is a must stop for us anytime we are on the area!! Great food and everyone is friendly. Always need to tale some boudin for the freezer too.
