Customer service used to be so much better, but they seemed to have gone down dramatically in the last several years. Food is still good, but takes more than a while if they have too many people at the same time. The place could be cleaner. The staff is all pretty young, which is not a bad thing, but they don't seem to be trained efficiently on customer service. This one time we went all the fries were burnt 😕

My burger was basically bread and veggies. The beef patty was half the size of the bread buns. Paid for a Whataburger and got a Jr. Burger patty : /

I usually go here at night as with the McDonald's in converse, Whataburger tends to be one of the few restaurants still open late at night; while I'm not a huge fan of all their food nor their wait time. Again, the workers here are doing their best; they're are however always friendly, quicker with orders than the McDonald's location in Converse, but they too almost always have very long lines. The food here is always fresh as a result.

I stopped in Saturday morning, 4/23 about 10:40a, and I was craving a sausage egg and cheese biscuit. They were out of biscuits so I ordered a burger and was sad but that all changed because that was the best Whataburger I have had in ages. I wanted to stop on the way out to compliment them but it had gotten way too busy. Whoever was making burgers that morning, good job! If I'm in the area again I'm stopping.

It was our first time there, the food was good, reminds of The Habit here in CA. It was even worth the wait(24 minutes), only because of lack of staff unfortunately, but that was okay!

Remember when you used to be able to go to a fast food restaurant, order your food, get it, and it was mostly correct, and you'd be in and out within 5-10 minutes? Yeah, those days are gone. Whataburger is one of the worst offenders. The people taking your order can't hear or understand simple orders. You wait for 25-30 minutes (not an exaggeration), you get it and it's wrong.
Whataburger found out during COVID they could get away with having horrible customer service and long wait times, and it didn't matter. People in this city are so fat they will never stop coming. So why would they go back to having a well staffed and well trained restaurant? I don't blame them, really.

I always wonder why I go to fastfood after I get my food. This location and one other near 35 and O'Connor are forever long waits. You can always forget eating it hot if you wait to get home. But I always have friendly service and politeness for how long it takes to get my order.
