Wonderful. They use the absolute best avocados in their food. Flavorful salsas and sauces. Excellent shrimp. The best beans and potatoes flavor wise I’ve had ANYWHERE.

Hidden gem. Casual dining with delicious Guadalajara style Mexican food. The bluefin tuna ceviche is a must-have. The lengua in sauce is the best preparation of lengua I've ever had. Excellent corn tortillas. Surprisingly good wine list.

The food was amazing, we had the asada quesadilla with rice and bean and the shrimp enchiladas with cilantro sauce and rice. The sauce was so tasty with a little kick. They are moving to another location which is a little farther to drive but I definitely would make the drive!!

We tried this place out yesterday for dinner. Had the asada enchiladas and shrimp plate with avocado appetizer. It was delicious. In fact it was so good we returned for breakfast this morning. I had the chilaquiles and baby had the enfrijoladas and they were amazing. With a mimosa..can't wait to try everything on the menu. It's our new spot. Love that the owner is so involved and provides service, he is so friendly and makes the place very inviting. I never leave reviews but they deserve one.

My family party of 7 (inc. kids) had a fantastic experience at Sal-O-Man Family Restaurant when we were visiting the New Braunfels area! The owners were present during our dinner and recommended amazing wine pairings with our (delicious!) authentic Mexican cuisine. The food was so so good (fajitas were on point!), and we felt so welcome by the owners. The new space is huge and beautifully decorated too. Can’t wait to return soon! This is a lovely family restaurant with amazing food. I would suggest the pork belly Torta. The pork melts in your mouth and the the bread is so light and fluffy! Warning the pork is a bit fatty so if you are not into that I suggest the asada as it is also wonderful.

Absolutely fantastic. Don't let the retail location dissuade you. This is fine Mexican Cuisine, not TexMex, with an amazing selection of wines. Make sure you get the Pork Belly Appetizer. Delicious! The seafood is some of the best in town.

Food was awesome. Went for a birthday party and everything tasted fresh. Rice was spot on, beans tasted home made and the Pico that they used in the shrimp tacos was amazing. Friend ordered the Salmon and I received a taste and it tasted better then some fish places around here.
