Wine, cheese and meat platter. Good stuff. The food was fresh. Most stuff served was from a local provider. They also did a collaboration with none pin cider in which nine pin aged cider in capoccia's wine barrels for a very unique sweet wine cider. Delicious. We went early so the bar tender acted as our server and was very friendly and attentive.

The wine lounge is the perfect place to host a party or event or just catch up with a friend. Drink and food specials every day and locally made beer, cider, and spirits in addition to the selection of wine that is all produced at the Capoccia Winery right in Niskayuna! Love it here!

I had a slight misunderstanding of the Wine Lounge at first... I've since learned they (only) serve wines they make locally and have other NYS ciders. They also serve cocktails. The pricing average regular $6- $7 per glass. Meat and cheese or chips and dip are all that is on the menu, so no dinner options but you won't leave hungry. The place is clean, fairly quite, and good if you're just looking to catch up with a friend.

Nope, nope, nope. Unless this place has really gotten themselves together in the month that I've been there, I would say "hard pass" every time. We called ahead for a bachelorette party group, and were shown to a dark booth with a filthy table in the back. Unfortunately, the wine was also very underwhelming. They don't have proper bottles of wine, just carafes of things that taste like box wine. We ordered some hummus and it was literally just a blob of hummus with some stale chips around it. No garnish or anything. Not plated with any care whatsoever. The cheese platter was pretty decent, that was the only saving grace. This place can't figure out what it wants to be, is it a wine bar or is it a sports bar? It had almost no ambience and was extremely dark, I couldn't even read the menu. The service was also pretty terrible. They had one guy working that night, and he seemed very grouchy and overwhelmed. Overall, just not an enjoyable place.

A local wine bar. Generous pours, large charcuterie boards, luxurious seating. This is a fantastic location for medium sized groups (6-10). Just a block off proctors this is where you should go before or after a show.

I love this place, because it provides a comfortable relaxed atmosphere for me and my friends to drink our favorite wines, and have good conversations over the delicious food that they serve. I recommend that every wine lover should visit this establishment.

Poor service would have been preferable to nearly no service they provided.. No AC so very uncomfortable. Generic liquor sampler with no information on the low quality liquors they're serving. Their website is misleading and out of date. Apparently the first sentence on the landing page of their website is a lie. They don't do anything special for birthdays. They tried to overcharge me as well and not produce an itemized receipt to prove that I'm paying for what I actually consumed. I was using my experience as a guage on whether or not to purchase two gift certificates for my firends' birthday tomorrow. Absolutely not, I'd be a poor friend if I encouraged anyone to go there. How did this get so many stars? The table had dirty silverware and wilted, dirty salad on it when I first sat down. I've been to dive bars in 3rd world countries that had better service. Avoid or learn the hard way. You choose.
