Senor Barrigas

The food and service here were excellent. I loved the fact that a tamale, enchilada, and mini chimichanga came on the same combination plate. That was unique as you don’t usually see that combination in Mexican restaurants. The red sauce that came on the enchilada and tamale was delicious. The tamale was one of the best I’ve had, and I loved the mini chimichanga as well. Super fresh and fast. Great experience.

On our way back home from vacation, we looked up restaurants along our route and after reading reviews, we decided on Senor Barrigas because the reviews appeared the most honest in the town ( cough cough nudge nudge), but were not expecting much since Savannah is so small and shot out. It was either this or cooking at home, so the choice was easy... well, the food was great. Thror Fajitas Especial was great, andso be aware but the taste is very good. so were other entrees my family had. The portions honestly can serve 2, so be aware.

This place use to be good but it sucks now. You don't get what you order. Waitress doesn't come back with orders until asked to. Food isn't that great anymore. At one point we waited for our food for 45 mins while watching others around us who came in after us get their food first. We had to ask for our food. I hate complaining because I've worked these kinds of jobs myself but we've given this place several chances and it gets worse each time. I do not recommend eating here. Go to Sonic there in Savannah instead they're great.
