I haven't had authentic Mexican cuisine so good since Mrs. Margarite stopped serving a hot lunch at La Fiesta grocery in Varsity Plaza probably 25 years ago! That was when I became hooked on cilantro, an aromatic ingredient in pico de Gallo, which she would include with fresh tacos alpastor or carnitas. All this and more is available on the buffet at La Comarca. I did not have time to chat with the folks who run this grocery/restaurant, but I will soon. I may have a new favorite restaurant of all time. They're gonna need a bigger place!

If you are looking for authentic Mexican cuisine, then this is a perfect little spot. Food is delicious and well priced. There is no menu so you have to ask what they have that day since it changes periodically. Customer service is phenomenal. They make you feel like family. Would definitely recommend.

The best mexican food ever from a restaurant. It real and not American at all. I live about 2 hours away and I will be back soon. I am in love with this place. Also they have a store filled with mexican items

To my awareness, La Comarca is the only Mexican buffet within Savannah's proximity. And, it pleasantly did not disappoint. The selections boasted authentic and flavorful combinations of spices to create a sensational dining experience. The salsas, unlike other franchises who serve bland and unauthentic selections without heart or invigorating flavors, contained a complex blend of spice yet punchy flavor. I'll be recommending everyone I know to experience the enriching palette of delight that is La Comarca.

Not your typical Mex experience: they put out a comprehensive buffet that packs the place with latino day labirers who know the teal thing when they see it. This is not a taco joint.
