We’ve had a prolonged stay at Memorial Medical and were looking for some home cooked food. We hit the jackpot here. Great food, the service was a hit and a miss. The manager is rude, but the other employees are so nice and helpful, especially Dee. Every time we’ve ordered, she’s there with a smile. Constantly cleaning and restocking. I don’t know her personally , but coming from a business owner, I’d be happy to have an employee with her attitude and work ethic.

If you're having a large gathering please ask for Ms. Nesbitt. She was the absolute best! We had a large demanding crowd of people and she handled us with the grace and care that was needed. I will say that Barnes should invest in large drink dispensers for the banquet hall, I truly believe it would make the dining experience that much more enjoyable. In these times where good staff are hard to find its important to come up with innovative ways that will assist those who are working diligently. Just my two cents. :)

Food was good. My sister and I both had Bacon Cheeseburgers. Good sized sandwich with plenty of toppings. French fries were good as well.

We ordered Barnes Restaurant Catering for a southern food experience at work for some visitors from out of state and they did not disappoint! The BBQ ribs, fried chicken, BBQ beans and Mac & Cheese was incredible! We also ordered banana cream pudding dessert which was great too. It was packaged so well for us and delivered on time. Great experience. Will be ordering again.

I been coming here the last past 2 week and the energy was very depressing until today Mrs. Anita was very nice, patient and helpful.... thank you so must Anita because this was going to be my last time coming here.The Barbecue ribs was good that's the reason Im visiting. The Chocolate Caramel and Pound cake was delicious. Well visit again.

Stopped at Barnes on impulse. Just moving here and never heard of it, but since the parking lot looked full, decided it couldn't be the worst. They were not terribly busy for a Friday lunch. Our server, Sharon was very friendly, informative, and efficient. She kept our drinks filled and needs met. The food came out hot and quick. The hushpuppies were the best I've ever had. The fish was great. The shrimp were very lightly battered but fresh. Collard greens had plenty of bacon flavor. Cole slaw was finely grated and not too sweet with pickle bits. Very good. Red rice was not flavorful. Will be back to try the bbq for sure.

It's no surprise that the parking lot is always full at this restaurant. The chicken fingers are amazing, and the hush puppies are probably the best I've ever had. Excellent service, excellent food, excellent price. Barnes is a great place for a quick bite, or a nice dinner. Highly recommend!

We came in late, five mins til closing and they allowed us to order. We ordered the Lobster, Shrimp and Fish Meals, The Giant Fish Sandwich and the 1/2 Rot. Chicken. The food was hot and delicious! They did forget our fish, but fried us a fresh piece before we left. Once I got home, I noticed the other meal was missing it's fish. It was enough food, so no need to call back. We experienced nice, professional front counter service as well!!!

We used Barnes catering for our wedding, and they truly went above and beyond for us. They provided all of the serving items, and it all looked great and tasted amazing. We even had plenty of leftover food which the servers boxed up for us and guests to take with them. I also caught some of the servers helping even more by bringing out the champagne for our toast (which was not their responsibility, but it REALLY helped us out). I cannot say thank you enough for the wonderful food and service we were provided on our most special day. ALSO, their prices are super reasonable to have such great quality. I will be recommending Barnes to everyone planning an event in the future. TRULY AMAZING.
