Sit on down and have a chat with one of the best oyster shuckers this side of the Mississippi. It was like sitting in your living room having a drink and eating oysters with a good friend. The food was really good and the atmosphere was very comfortable

We LOVE Fiddler's! Every time we visit Savannah, we always go to Fiddler's. Delicious food and an inviting atmosphere. We hosted our wedding welcome party on the first floor. Our family and friends had the best time and the service was top notch. Highly recommend stopping in!

Our dinner last night ! We were strolling down River Street and Ben Spied a sign that read “Oyster Bar” . So we decided to come back to it for dinner , as Ben loves his oysters 🦪 .
We were not disappointed!! We were seated upstairs for a view over the Savannah river . The ambience of the restaurant reminded us of Louisiana , along with the music .. .. and they do serve crawfish 🦞 !
I had the low country boil which was was delicious.. serving me up the most amazing sausage , red rice , a pound of shrimp, corn on the cob , hush puppies , boiled potatoes, and coleslaw . It was the perfect combo !
Ben had the fried oysters served up with a side of fries and coleslaw . The oysters were fresh and juicy . He was satisfied to say the least . If you’re a lover of oysters and some Cajun food , definitely check this place out !

This was our first visit to Savanah and to the Crab House. We sat outside on the 2nd floor with a beautiful view of the river walkway. It was a sunny but cool day, but even so, they have heaters hanging overhead to take the chill off. We ordered the crab stew and the crab dip, which is served in a bread bowl. Wow! It was the perfect light lunch for us and we highly recommend it. The overall Riverwalk is not completely compatible with those with mobility issues because of the cobblestone road and walkways, as well as the various steps into the many stores and restaurants. Overall, I would highly recommend a visit to this restaurant because of the quality of the food, it's also priced reasonably well, and the view and atmosphere is really nice.

I was recommended the Shrimp and Grits by our excellent server Jonathan, something I've never had before, and just wow. SO GOOD. The Bloody Mary was also very good and I am particular when it comes to those. Blue Crab quesadilla was also a winner. Sadly, I live on the opposite side of the country but I will always remember our great time in Savannah and the delicious lunch we had there.

Was taking a stroll on the River Walk so decided to stop in for a bite. The first floor where the bar is located has a strong musty smell ( more than just ocean/river smell) so we opted to go upstairs and sit on the balcony. It was early afternoon so they were not very busy. Server came and took our drink orders in a timely manner then came back to take our food order. Our party Ordered chicken fingers, shrimp salad sandwich, raw oysters and clam chowder. Drinks were brought next and food came shortly after. Very little, if any, accommodations for food allergies so be aware. I have Alpha gal syndrome and the young waiter was unaware what that was. I played it safe and just had the raw oysters which were very good. Others in the party said their food was good as well. Waiter was friendly but could have came by the table more often.
4 stars because there is always room for some improvement.

Salmon was delicious. The seafood broil was ok. The potatoes didn't have a lot of flavor and neither did the broil.

It was pretty late and we still got excellent service that mean a lot. The server was tried you see it ,but he still serves like we were his first customer of the day. The oyster Rockefeller recipe need to be changed horrible.Possible the worst I ever had in 30 years!Everything else was outstanding!

When in Savannah, you’ve gotta get Seafood! The Fiddler’s Crab House is my go to. I absolutely love the outdoor eating area as it gives me a view of the Savannah River & I’m able to people watch. 😂🤣 We ordered the Crab dip, Shrimp & grits, Crab Cake burger (not pictured but very good) & the Salmon BLT. All of our food was so good! Our server checked on us periodically and provided quick & friendly service. I totally forgot her name, but she was on point. Thank you for the great service & yummy food!

The perfect location on the river near other restaurants and hotels. Lots to do. Outdoor tables on the second floor are perfect on cooler days. Food is really just okay. 3-4 stars, max.
