Dockside Seafood

Excellent food and drinks, only surpassed by Christina's extraordinary service. We sat outside with our pups and Christina brought a large bowl of cold water for them to drink. Christina was super sweet and attentive and showed us pics of her pup Handsome, which endeared her to us even more. We highly recommend Dockside for food and service-- the hushpuppies are phenomenal. We'll visit again the next time we're in Savannah.

5 Star+ rating. Best relaxing Birthday meal ever ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️!! Catfish Special was excellent. Then throw in the Live saxophone player across the street, that Dockside needs to add to their PAYROLL 💵. Please hire him!! He even had a flute that was amazing! Relaxing and really enjoyed the atmosphere. Good food and Live Music 🎶.

We stopped in on our trip to Savannah wanting some authentic coastal seafood and am really glad we did. Dockside is located in a very historic, very old building which we absolutely enjoyed. The staff is cheerful, friendly and welcoming. The food is great! We opted for the low country boils (one regular and one with the crab legs) both were amazing and such huge portions. Please note that seating is limited but well worth the wait. I have to also add they piped in classic rock music which just added to the cool relaxed vibe. If we are ever in Savannah again, Dockside will be our first stop.

Savannah's Got Food @savannahsgotfood I had a delicious Deepfried Chicken Breast that was nice an Golden Brown. I ask for my Spicy Buffalo Sauce on the side, it comes Topped with Bleu Cheese Crumbles. I chose to switched to cheddar. Then it's Popped under the Broiler to get the cheese all gooey! It was served on a Buttered then Toasted Bun with Lettuce and Tomato. Served with potato salad. It was a nice experience. We had lots of fun with our server Kristine! I'll be back soon. This restaurant is soooo good. My 11 year old got the fried catfish fingers, husband got the shrimp po boy. We got fried pickles and popcorn shrimp. The fries were to die for they were so delicious. I could’ve eaten a gallon of the fries alone. The fried green tomatoes were 🤤!! Every single thing was mouth watering and satisfactory! They have a little something for every member of the family here and the prices were very reasonable! Not to mention it’s a historic building you’re eating in! Our waiter, Matt, was so great! He was kind and down to earth and never rushed us at all. He was very knowledgeable and recommended things as it was our first time there. Will definitely be coming back again when we are in town visiting.

We were in Savannah for a 'Destination Wedding', Stayed at the Quaint 17Hundred90 Inn. During our down time decided to take in the sights on River St. Lunch at the Dockside was spectacular, and memorable! We asked if we could take our time and sit for a bit after our meal, and the waitress was quite accommodating! My wife had the Savannah Salad with Cajun Blackened Yellow Fin Tuna. The Tuna was mouth-watering, tender and cooked to perfection. I had the (less inspired?) Fish Fingers (mostly because I wanted to try the Hush Puppies that came as a side)... I could not be more pleased! This is a perfect place to eat and enjoy the view.!
