What a wonderful dining experience. The service was very friendly and attentive. Our waiter asked if anyone at the table had any allergies, and made some great recommendations. Alligator fritters and baked oysters were fantastic appetizers. For the main course we went with the evening specials Red Drum fish, New Zealand stag, and Wild Boar shank. Everything was perfectly cooked, well seasoned and tasted great. I can definitely recommend this restaurant, but make sure you make a reservation ahead of time.

Would recommend reservations, as the restaurant fills up quickly. The atmosphere is romantic and cozy. Our server did an excellent job explaining the specials, along with his own personal recommendations for the dishes. The bread was delicious, warm, and accompanied by a mixture of butter and other add ins. We have a drink each, both of which were tasty with quality liquor. For our main meal, we had the wild boar and then the game special, which ended up being venison. Both were cooked to the right temperature. The venison was okay in terms of portion, but the wild boar was much larger. Finally for dessert, we finished with a peanut butter pie, which was tasty and smooth but rather large. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and would be happy to return if in Savannah again.

I’ve been in Savannah for 5 days and I’ve eaten at great restaurants including Hueys, Vic’s, and The Old Pink House. All amazing places to eat BUT Aligator Soul was THE BEST! This was amazing. The atmosphere was lovely and the server was so knowledgeable, excited, professional and gave great recommendations. The way in which she described the dishes was like Art. I had two starters- Crispy Pork Belly which was cooked perfectly and Alligator Fritters. These were new to me and so very good. The starters are pretty big too. With each new dish my server cleaned and wiped my tablecloth and gave me new silverware. My main course was a Che’s special/ Red Fish- Wow! Such amazing and adventurous flavor and pairings. My drink was a delicious Pumpkin something. I found a new fave!
