This place was recommended to me and it wasn't disappointing! The food was phenomenal and the waiter was great. The drinks were so well done.....loved the fancy adornments to the drinks! The outdoor seating area is lovely but we thought it was going to rain so inside we went. Wish we got the name of the waiter! He was a hoot and joked with us the whole meal. Had the grilled cheese with onion jam. I wasn't sure about the onion jam but it was da bomb!
Excellent food! We ordered the gnocchi and the beet salad for takeout and both were great. It also has a cute outhouse with provisions like milk, cheese, bread, wine, hot sauce. During the holiday season, they also had a gift box of gluten free cookies which was amazing!
Best blueberry pancakes I’ve had! When we told our waiter, he let us know it was a family recipe, which made it that much sweeter.
Parking can be tricky, and seems a hot spot for breakfast/brunch, so I would advise getting there right at opening. While we waited for our table, we visited the bar area and ordered a delicious breakfast cocktail. The outdoor patio is beautiful and surrounded by heaters. We sat inside, which was a nice atmosphere listening to the chef call out orders and enjoying the delicious smells come from the kitchen. I had the soup/sandwich combo - the whitefish melt was delicious!
All staff we encountered were very friendly and efficient, given the morning rush of things. Highly recommend!
Worth the drive. Cute gourmet find. Delicious breakfast, brunch or lunch. Inside or in the outside garden. We're always thinking about this place every time we're hungry.
We were in town on a girls trip and stopped for a cocktail our first night. It was so good we made dinner reservations for the next night. The fritto misto, aranchinni, osso bucco and duck were exceptional. Not to mention the chicken and fries and the basque cake. This place is a 10/10. Highly recommend.
This place is amazing! The Perch and Gnocchi we ordered was so flavorful with perfect texture. The menu had several fun and interesting choices. The staff were all so friendly and you couldn't ask for better ambiance, outside or inside! We love everything about it.
We popped in here for a quick lunch after biking. The cocktail menu looked so good that I felt like getting one too. My salad was delicious and my husband loved everything he had too. The service was good and the place was packed. The inside was small, so you sit very close to others, but it was too chilly to sit outside. Will be back next time we are in town.
Delicious food and wonderful service at the Pennyroyal tonight! I have dietary restrictions and they were very kind and accommodating. My “campfire trout” entree was awesome!
