We're never disappointed when we dine here. The food, service, and atmosphere are always top notch. We went late yesterday afternoon hoping to miss the crowd of Cinco de Mayo. The place was hopping! We still got seated right away. I had my favorite (chimichanga) and my companion had his usual tacos. We also ordered a pitcher of sangria and we weren't disappointed with that either. There was a José Cuervo tasting going on and the young ladies providing samples were fun, friendly, and knowledgeable. We'll definitely go back. In my opinion, this is the best Mexican food in Saratoga, if not the Capital Region.
Here finishing my margarita and why not write a review? The little outdoor area is inviting. Food is great, very "homemade" tasting. Our server's adorable and such a doll, pleasant personality and sense of hunor. Staff are great, and they look like they like being here. Lively atmosphere, if that's what you're looking for. I can't recommend this place enough.
We stopped in for some drinks. He ordered a Corona, while I had a couple of skinny margaritas. We were greeted by the bartender, who was very nice. One of them seemed less involved with actually taking orders and more about the social aspect, but who am I to judge, lol.
The complementary chips and salsa were great. The margaritas were yummy. The atmosphere outside as we were walking in was gross and a little concerning as a worker carried a metal container of something out back. We didn't try any food but will go back to try something from the menu.
Great food, prices are very good. Cannot go wrong with the chimichanga! Of the Mexican places in Saratoga, this is the hidden gem!
Was pretty delish! We ordered to go with masks, but waited outside where they had tables so we could have a drink to go. You can thank the 'Rona for that. We ordered a burrito, enchilada, and tamale for each of us. More than enough! Great Spanish food!
Absolutely delicious food and relaxed casual atmosphere. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Prices were excellent too! Overall a great experience--I'll definitely be returning when I am back in the area! (Just a tip: It was busy when we came in and no one saw us at first so we just sat down at a table, but they prefer to seat you themselves. Just a heads up! They were perfectly understanding of our mistake though and it wasn't an issue.) Thanks for great service!

Service - Excellent
Portions - Huge!
Food - Very good! I had the Mango Jalapeño Scallops over Grits. Soooo good. Mark had the Shredded Beef Chimichanga. He didn’t care for the spicy sour cream. But otherwise was good.
Restrooms - Clean
Temperature - I was a little cold but we were sitting near the door.
Green - Yes! Compostable straws. And cardboard to-go containers.
Overall a good dinner experience. We would definitely cone back.
Great dinner at The Mexican Connection and I highly recommend! Atmosphere is fine, prices are reasonable and the quality of food is awesome! The bar is a great place to hangout for drinks also! Location is perfect, right across from the track.
