We had a wonderful dining experience! I had the salmon and my boyfriend had a seafood trio special. Our meals were deliciously prepared and the food arrived quickly but we never felt hurried. The best part of our experience though was the service provided by Rebecca and her partner whose name unfortunately escapes me. We sought their advice in picking out a bottle of wine to compliment our meals, and they went out of their way to get answers and recommendations. Throughout our meal, they were very attentive in refilling our water and wine glasses without being intrusive. Our hands never touched the wine bottle which is the sign of good wine service... as it should be. Sadly too many restaurants pour your first glass and then it’s up to you to pour the rest. My only critique was I found the wood burning fireplace a little overwhelming. It’s nice for ambience but we weren’t even seated near it and I could smell the smoke in my hair and clothes hours after we left. Nevertheless we will definitely be back!
Superb, from top to bottom. Best wedding food we've ever eaten, with a comfortable room to boot. One suggestion: add a comfy chair to the queen room. Thanks for being such gracious hosts.
Took my son here for his Graduation dinner and he got the Veal Sausage and I got the St.Louis Rib dinner. His was very tasty but didn’t receive much of the sausage, the ribs were like a half rack and some beans on the side, way to much bbq sauce, way over priced for what you got. The service was excellent, never had to ask for them, they were always at your table checking on you.

My wife & I came to Longfellow's on the 11th of January for dinner. We were in Saratoga Springs for 2 days because my wife was having surgery on the 12th. We were recommended to Longfellows from the front desk of our hotel, The Courtyard Marriott Bonvoy on Excelsior St. Our servers & food were Delicious!! It was so nice to sit down by the fireplace. The drinks we ordered were Delicious also and prepared us for our wonderful evening together. My wife had The Turkey Dinner and I had The French Onion Soup (Delicious) followed by The St. Louis dinner which includes fall off the bone Ribs with a delicious spicy barbecue sauce , baked beans, & Delicious Corn Bread , might I say this was The Best !!!! Corn Bread that I have ever had, the Cole slaw was spicy & Delicious & very savory !! The moist Carrot cake & Cappuccino were the perfect ending for my meal . Also, if you are planning an event, Longfellow's has a wonderful party room which looks like you are outside in a village in Europe, complete with an indoor double Koi Pond with an amazing wooden bridge in the middle. You have to see this room. I believe the original building at Longfellow's is an Old & Distinguished Barn that has been brought back to it's glory and taken to the next level

Always an amazing experience. Food is always amazing, relaxing and unique atmosphere and the waitstaff is always so attentive and pleasant. It's our favorite place to go for celebrations (we make any excuse we can 😆) with family and friends. We love introducing new people to the amazing food and staff.
I walked in and immediately forgot that it was a company dinner. The decor, atmosphere and layout were enough to get everyone to relax and talk about anything but work. It was great. Dinner was buffet style, usually food losing something when done this way, not here. My wife and I will be having a date night here in the future.
Great local place with an outstanding atmosphere. Based in a colonial structure, the restaurant blends historic ambiance with a solid menu. If in town, it's worth the short drive outside of the town limits to experience this place. During track season it's very busy, so I'd stay away. However, during the off-season I'd highly recommend it. Also, would suggest reservations for dinner hours anytime of the year.
The food and atmosphere are fantastic. However our service was not. We sat at the bar and had a great time chatting with all the folks there. Anytime we wanted or needed something it was an all hail wave your hand to get the attention of someone. And then it was slow to respond and return with whatever it was .
First dining experience at Longfellows. There were 8 of us in our party. Our server was very attentive with a great sense of humor. We all agreed that our meals were delicious. Would definitely recommend this restaurant!
