Really great food! Pizza was delicious and the volcano dish was amazing!! Kevin was a fantastic waiter and really made us feel welcome, important, and taken care of. Really cozy atmosphere too.

Great place to go if you want a sexy cool place to hang in Sarasota. The cool chic people hang here. Drinks are great and food is fairly priced. My wife order the garlic basil martini and loved it. The food since my last visit has gone down a little, but it could have simply been one bad night. I still give it 4 stars

The most delicious and unique drinks in Sarasota. They had live music at the perfect volume to still carry on conversations. RARE! Food was spectacular. We got the meatballs. I got lamb and my girlfriend got veggie. I've never had more flavor packed into a meatball. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our experience was the pinnacle of our vacation.

Enjoyed the small plates portion of the menu -- terrific for two people to share. We also enjoyed terrific pre meal cocktails, enjoying the flavors they created and how they matched to our plates. Overall a fun place for us, typical of the Sarasota restaurant community.

I venture back to my hometown every couple of months and always stay downtown. I have eaten at just about every restaurant in that culturally relevant and growing dining scene. This weekend I finally made it into Social Eatery & Bar. I was super impressed! The vibe and decor, inside and out, were just right. My server/hostess, Amber, was eager to please and offer wine selections while General Manager, Mark, made everyone feel welcomed and was very involved in every element and aspect of my dining experience. I’ll be back!

I came here for a drink Saturday and the atmosphere was perfect for some evening drinks with fire pits in the back and a nice playlist running.
The cocktails were excellent - a little on the pricey side, but not too expensive and good quality.
My blueberry mule was tasty. We had lots of fun here and enjoyed the atmosphere. They had a couple of local craft beers on tap as well and I enjoyed a nice berliner from Darwin Brewing Co. Nice.

Sarasota magazine just featured Social as one of their 25 favorite places for outdoor dining. My husband and I agree. We enjoyed a delicious meal on the outdoor patio. Food was flavorful, service from Valerie was attentive and the outdoor dining area was set in back so there was no street noise. We'll dine there again.

We were hosting a group of firefighters from out of town and came in last minute without a reservation. The hostess sat us right away at a large table. Our server handled our table with efficiency and professionalism, even though we were a bit loud. I was truly impressed with how well she handled a large group of guys. She brought us three big baskets of warm bread with our first round of cocktails; because she knew we were hungry. (Excellent Old Fashioned btw). All of our guests had an excellent meal. We'll be sure to return.

Tried this for our daughters birthday with a group of 8 17-year-old girls. The tuna tartare starter was amazing. Try the meatballs for your main course. You can get them in a variety of ways and they are delicious! Tip. Get there early or stay late and enjoy some cocktails around the fire in the bar garden out back!
