A nice restaurant with a great view. The tables are right at the water, intercoastal waterway. Its a fun place to watch boats, birds, and dolphins. It's a treat to see the draw bridge go up for a passing tall boat. Prices are fair, service good. We didn't eat here but lots of fresh fish on the menu.

We cannot say enough about the staff at the Boatyard. Service is spectacular, atmosphere on the water and food is amazing. The manager even came over and chatted like we were old friends. This is a MUST on our list whenever we visit Sarasota!

Once again, tortillas need to be cooked before you call it a taco. Blackened means color on the fish. Nice flavors, but the cook needs to be versed on some basics. Staff was very pleasant but our waitress seemed to be scared to approach our table.

The food is so good and not over priced. The view is great too. We sat right by the water and I loved it. My 2nd time eating there.

What a great dining experience. The restaurant has several layers to sit, right on the water, inside, or in between. We were able to watch the sun set while we ate dinner. We started with the nacho, which was plenty in it self for the three of us, as our appetizer. After seeing the wide selection of food, my party all decided to get a variant of the tacos and they did not disappoint. After sampling eachothers none of us could decide which was the best. The waiting staff was super friendly and constantly refilling our drinks. The best part was the food was very reasonably priced. All in all I would drive a ways just to come back.

Loved the place! Live music, a very good singer, good food that enchanted me and a wonderful view of the sea. Super nominate for those who are two or with a group of friends. People are very polite and the sunset is beautiful!

We came here for dinner and we’re almost the only people there but the atmosphere was still great. All of our food was good other than the shrimp. Sadly it was undercooked. Staff were kind but service was slow. Overall I would recommend coming here but don’t get the shrimp.

Food was great service was ok at best I guess when you are getting a tip on a large party why give good service. Really sad about this on I wanted to give it 5 but really should be a 3 only a4 because I really enjoyed my food. No complaints for anyone in our party except for slow to no service. Great food great location. Maybe it's just a bad day for the servers. I'll be back for 1 more try. Ps the chef 👩🍳 did great thank you.

Me and a buddy stopped by this spot on the boat. We ordered a couple of landshark lagers, grouper sliders and peel and eat shrimp. Food was delicious! Our bartender, Cassie, really made the experience. She was incredibly welcoming and friendly. One of the best bartenders I've ever had!
