The Clever Cup

I love this place! It is one of the best coffee shops I know of. The ambiance is amazing, and they dish out quality product. This is the best coffee shop I go to regularly, just your everyday cliche amazing place to have great coffee and snacks do good conversation! It’s a classic setup for a reason!!

Fun place to pop in from time to time. The cafe is always perfectly busy, which makes me feel like I’m in a big city again surrounded by people who know coffee. Sometimes, I try their special drinks but for the most part it’s hot brewed, medium roast with cream for me. Edit: their coffee beans are good, too. I support their local mission. I haven’t purchased any in awhile just because I’m personally over hand grinding in the mornings, especially during summer months. You can get your beans ground in store but I’m obviously a coffee snob so I’ll wait until I have more energy to start hand grinding again.

Our family has a place in Siesta Key, so we are not local but we come here often. Every time we visit, I try to find a new local gem to support! I was in search of a delicious coffee that wasn’t Starbucks after a morning trip to the grocery store and I stumbled upon The Clever Cup! I ordered the Johanna latte as suggested by the barista, a cold brew for my husband and the oat bar. I have to say that the Johanna Latte was the perfect blend of coconut and honey and is now one of my favorites. I am so sad that I will not have it easily accessible back home! The oat bar was also ooey gooey and delicious! I will definitely be frequenting this place every time we come to Siesta Key!

I absolutely love the coffee here, I am very picky about my coffee I like it strong. I usually drink black coffee. I enjoyed the latte but wanted a darker drink I asked the batista and he recommended the iced coffee. It was perfect, nice and dark and full bodieded. I like to sit at a coffee shop and read my books and this place is perfect for that. It has a nice peaceful environment and a cool coffee house vibe. I have enjoyed the raspberry oat bar. I will become a regular here, love the vibe and the customer service is great.
