Angelo's

We had a lovely dinner for 4. The service was perfect. Everything was explained, and they went out of their way to make each dish perfect. We even asked for some alterations on the dishes and they were happy to customize them. The dishes were excellent. The prices were reasonable, and the restaurant is intimate and comfortable. We will be back.

Marco really took care of us. The escargot was amazing and the fish filet prepared table side was absolutely fantastic. In fact, all of the dishes we had were wonderful. Most of the specials had multiple ways they could be prepared and I wish I could have tried them all. We will be going back for more this same trip.

If you haven't been to Angelo's then you need to go. This is NOT a sauce and pasta joint, it's a Italian restaurant! The wine list is great, the staff is friendly and attentive. The food, well fantastic. We had a wonderful evening with friends and as we left Angelo was waiting at the door with Roses for the ladies. We plan to go again soon and have Angelo provide his table side service that we watched him provide to a group near us, they where having as much fun as we did. Thanks all at Angelo's, it's places and people like you that I enjoy giving my business and money to. See ya again soon

Very nice experience. Waiters and staff where very friendly. Great food, great date with my wife. We don't get a chance to do this to often without kids, but would recommend this place with or without kids. The owner of the restaurant even came out to see that we where satisfied with everything. Don't let the exterior facade of the restaurant scare you, the interior is decorated very nicely.

Went for our 11 month anniversary of dating to our engagement nite. Made our reservations in advance and notified of needing to make it a special night. Waiting staff was wonderfully accommodating, wine selections were phenomenal, and the food was excellent! Highly recommended as they use locally caught seafood in their daily specials and are accommodating of dietary restrictions.

When we arrived (without a reservation I might add) we were greeted with a smile and quickly seated. At our table, Chef Angelo came over, took away our menus and told us he would make us something special. He cooked a four course meal for us at our table and it was incredible! Not only is he an amazing chef but also quite entertaining and kept us laughing the whole night! We had a great time and will definitely be back!! Thank you Chef Angelo!!

Our dining experience was fantastic! From the moment we entered until we left, the service was great, food was wonderful and Angelo is an amazing and gracious host as well as chef!! And his signature dessert, the Angelo Foster, which he fixed table side was outstanding; and I don't even like bananas. We will definitely return!

Hands down one of the best if not the BEST Italian meals in Sarasota. From start to finish our experience was amazing! We started off the night with free champagne, followed by an amazing brunello. Our waiter was 🙌🏻🙌🏻. The anti pasta was delicious as well as the calamari. The risotto w/ prawn, veal chop, mussels pasta, and all other meals at our table were simply perfect. Atmosphere 👍🏻👍🏻. Even the saxophonist and the jellyfish painting lady all set the atmosphere lol. We were so stuffed we couldn’t sample any dessert even tho we really wanted to. Will definitely return at least once a month. They even let my wife toss her own pasta in the giant Parmesan wheel and posted it on their Facebook page. 5 ***** start to finish. Highly recommended. Non rushed dinner with plenty of Italian wine (multiple brunellos to choose from). Felt like we were back in the Amalfi coast. nothing but good things to say about this place!!!!!

FANTASTIC RESTAURANT! Incredible food, ambience, very romantic not to mention that Angelo is the best host ever!! Last night we were also entertained by the super Italian singer Taddeo Scalici who is beyond incredible. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. (This is my lovely wife below - the beautiful PRINCESS Sharlene!)
