Bonefish Grill

Came here to grab dinner before seeing a show at the Players Center. First of all, I really liked the ambiance of the restaurant. It felt very welcoming and the lights were dim but not too dark. Then my server Deidre was amazing! She answered questions and made suggestions and checked in the perfect amount. I started with the bang bang shrimp which was pretty good but the plating on a bed of lettuce felt unnecessary. Then I ordered the Signature Pasta with salmon as my entree. The salmon was delicious and the veggies (artichokes and red peppers) were cooked well and still had a nice crunch to them. The sauce however was very watery and did not coat the noodles very well. To drink I had a pomegranate martini then a blackberry sangria. Both were very tasty. Overall, I would return here but just try something else. There were many other customers that seemed like regulars and it was nice to see staff interact with them even if they weren't in their section (I take that as staff caring and knowing customers which I appreciate).

This has become one of our favorite restaurants in Sarasota. The service is always excellent. We got the mussels Josephine which were wonderful. My fillet plus lobster tail was most perfect. My wife got the mahi-mahi and grilled shrimp which she said was excellent. Our only complaint was that the seasonal vegetables we both asked for turned out to be broccoli and the broccoli was mushy. My wife got a great goose martini and I got a dirty martini. Both were also excellent Tim, our server was very attentive, wonderful place to go.

We went here for lunch. Only three tables were seated…nice and quiet. Waitress was friendly, knowledge and helpful. We ordered a house salad, bang bang shrimp and fish and chip. Everything was delicious. We had to take some home because the quantity was too much. One nice thing is that we ordered club soda instead of a drink and it turned out to be free, even though they filled it few times. We’ve been here many times but never right after they open at noon so this was a very pleasant experience.
