Madfish Grill

This is my absolutely favorite place. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal. The Bartenders are creative, happy, efficient. Always suggesting new cocktails and are always as described. Excellent selection of a variations of Old Fashions. They actually have a menu for just Manhattans and Old Fashions. Highly recommend this gem. It's our neighborhood CHEERS.

A rare find. Most restaurants don't do a good or consistent job cooking fish. This place does! I've been there numerous times and every time the food is awesome 👌. Fresh, flavorful and consistently good. The Maduros (sweet plantains) are better than any Cuban restaurant I've ever eaten at. Hard to imagine. I give them two 👍 👍thumbs up. Please don't change a thing.

TMadfish Grill in Sarasota offers a charming ambiance, perfect for a night out with friends or a romantic dinner. The menu is a seafood paradise, boasting an array of fresh catches and innovative dishes. The service was little slow due to the time of the day and the hour, however they have knowledgeable staff ready to offer recommendations and ensure a pleasant meal. I particularly enjoyed their signature dishes, such as the succulent lobster tail and perfectly seared scallops. The flavors were exquisite, and the presentation was top-notch. Highly recommended!

I recently tried out Madfish Grill for the first time and was exceptionally pleased with the experience. I was wondering if I would find anything I like, as my children are the seafood lovers and I am not. Our server, Joe, suggested that I try their flat iron steak and I was quite pleased with the seasoning and it came cooked medium rare, just as I had requested. I also was delighted to see that truffle fries were on the menu, which seems to be a rare find. They came with a dill sauce that was to die for. The broccoii was brilliantly seasoned and cooked perfectly. To top it all off the bread came with a unique fresh garlic and olive oil dip which teased my tasted buds. Joe suggested some delicious desserts for my kids and they made a special ending to our visit. I will be sure to return again anytime we visit the Sarasota area

Went here with my grandmother and was expecting another mediocre Florida seafood experience. Every other restaurant I have been to down there does not know how to cook fish, shrimp, anything really. NOT this place. The fish is always flaky and juicy and fresh tasting. The vegetables are perfect. Everything tastes and feels perfect. I haven't had drinks here, but I imagine they are good as well. I can't recommend enough. Whatever they are doing, they are doing it right.

I met two girlfriends for an Al fresco dinner on a Thursday night. The weather was perfect to sit outside on the patio. Our server was Joe who was friendly and attentive. Right before dusk, the flies showed up but Joe turned on the fans and away they went. I loved their wine list. Far more interesting than most other area restaurants I’ve visited. The menu was good but that’s where the one star deduction comes from. I prefer more healthy vegetable options. The bathroom was immaculate (always a good sign) and the ambiance was easy going. I will definitely return.
