Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

Just got married at the Sarasota courthouse with my now wife & wanted to go somewhere not cheap, but also not expensive. This Olive Garden is ran how one should that I’ve always figure it should. The seating, wait time for drinks & ordering was excellent. I got the chicken & shrimp carbonara & it was perfect & I mean perfect!! My wife got a soup & it was great too!! The house salad was satisfactory nothing old/rotten. I will be back in the future with my now wife for the exact same dish I hope they never get rid of it ❤️.

Minor problem with scanner on table. Card compromised. So I do suggest those card scanners are not left on the table when arriving. But have then checked between guests. And brought to table on arrival. I know more work. But will protect the guest. Not mad at restaurant. Bummer that thieves put skimmers on card devices.

The young lady's greeting me at the door were very kind and professional, as was the host who seated me. My server Filipe was beyond professional and courteous. The best part, he was genuine and wasn't just being kind for tips or trying to rush me. He also didn't come over every five mins and interrupt me. I will ask for him when I return. He should be running his own place. This veterans Day meal was amazing and I could not even finish it. I had to get a box. The fettuccine Alfredo is always perfect here anyways.. but today's meal and service was extraordinary and very appreciated since it's rare to find good food and service these days. Typical Olive Garden. Good food, and lots of it, for a low price. During this visit, we were a party of 10, and they sat us in our own room in under 8 minutes! Due to my diet restrictions, I tried their steak and salad. It was cooked perfectly and just the right amount of seasonings. All my friends liked their choices as well. And most had plenty of leftovers for the next day. The server was great. Got all orders perfect and kept the salad, breadsticks, and drinks full. At 6:45 on a Friday, parking was a premium as it's shared with the rest of the strip mall. That was the only negative I had, but it wasn't terrible.

We just had the best restaurant experience ever! Waitstaff was great! Thank you Lopez and Vanessa! You guys rock! The food was great, too! The manager Adena was really nice, too! Even the hostesses were nice! Phenomenal experience all the way around! We’ll definitely be coming back to the Sarasota location!
