We walked in for the first time and the smells of genuine Italian cooking made me instantly think of my Grandma’s 3-storey walkup back in Jersey City decades ago. It’s like a little piece of heaven. Really great, authentic, home made Italian cooking, and their own wines made in house and custom roasted coffees too. Laid-back, down-homey cafe vibe and good service topped off the experience. The cannoli and cappuccino were to die for. We’ll be back.
Met some ladies at Goodfellas last night and had a wonderful time. The staff is very attentive-it was so nice to be in an establishment that understands customer service. The pizza was AWESOME and I am from the northeast-just saying....The wine? The wine was delicious and because they make their own wine without added sulfates, it was the first time I was able to enjoy wine without getting a headache! Love the atmosphere and food. You must go! Dave, the owner, and his staff are doing an amazing job. I will be going back as soon as I can!
Food was really good. My husband had the chicken alfredo and raved about it for two days (and he comes from an Italian family so this is a big feat). Homemade Cesar dressing on the salad was a bit strong, but overall really good. Nice atmosphere, good service, excellent food. And not to overly priced! Would highly recommend.
Had a great dinner. Our waiter Matt was very busy but still very attentive, smiling and friendly. His suggestions for food was spot on as it was mine and Stevens first time here. When he went on break a waitress by the name of Barbara came over and asked if we needed anything. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. Steven ordered the lasagna and it was very light and very fluffy. There was atleast, to my eye, a half inch of meat between layers. The manager, Dave, explained that everything is made fresh in house that day. Also, taking into account how everything is made fresh daily the prices were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
When we walked in the chef stepped out from the kitchen & his black apron had flour all over the front of it so I figured everything was homemade. Everything was homemade, the pizza & pasta were fabulous! I'll definitely be back for more.
We’re here for about 4 months in the winter and a month in the late summer, This is our go to place almost once a week. Love to have a beer or glass of wine and get a large Meatzilla and house salad to go. Dave, the owner is a great guy and a true renaissance guy(makes his own wine, plus a million other things).
I kid him about being from Colo, as I’m from Kansas, but then we’re not rivals since CU fled the Big 8/12. Enough said, please enjoy his place and good food!
Great pizza - have gluten-free crust option. Wonderful tiramisu (wish the portion was larger 😊). Welcoming staff with great service!
Passed by here by coincidence after visiting Myakka. No regrets here. Had a pizza and my girlfriend had a sandwich. I believe both came from a wood fire oven and were very good. Prices were very reasonable and the service was fine too. The weather was nice so we sat outside. Located near a busy road.
