I agree with another reviewer that this place is underrated. My go-to for Chinese (and Thai) takeout. Food is always hot and fresh, ready in 15 minutes or less.
Just because the owner's mannerisms differ from yours, doesn't make her rude. I've ordered often and never had an unpleasant experience. Not to mention, she is always there no matter what time I go. Let's see how you feel working in a hot kitchen for 10+ hours with only one day off.
My favorites: singapore noodles, pad thai, basil chicken, shrimp toast, and boneless spare ribs. The soups are good, too.
The food and service here is under rated. The food is always read in 10 minutes, it's not expensive, and it taste amazing. I'm not vegan but I tried the vegan chicken, and I was shocked at how good it was. I honestly prefer it over real chicken!
Just ate here today for first time. Very impressed with the Covid precautions in place. We got lunch special sezchuan chicken and general Tso chicken both were ($6.25) each came with a large good egg roll. Fried rice ( just ok). General was very good will get again in a heartbeat.. also got an order of chicken pad Thai which was good but not stellar.. needed a bit more sauce. One thing of note is the people working one speaks little English the other zero so our interactions were short and to the point ( can come across “ rude”) but honestly we are very happy we tried them and will be back
The food was very good. I had a spicy beef dish and my wife had the egg drop soup. Everything was very fresh and what I REALLY Liked was the fact they did not kill the food with salt (like at most Chinese restaurants). The woman (who I assume was the owner) who took our order and served us was a culturally complex experience in herself. As a psychologist I am used to dealing with tricky personalities so it was kind of fun and interesting and different to be treated so, and I put this nicely, indifferently. All said though, I would rather get a really tasty meal from a difficult personality, than a really bad meal from a pleasant personality. Life is all about choices and trade-offs and so on and so on……
