Seems these guys are only open for breakfast and lunch. We were working across the road at the Dollar General, the store manager recommended them. We arrived only just before closing but they were happy to serve us. The food was yummy and the service courteous and attentive. Great place to grab breakfast or lunch, probably a shame they don’t serve dinner also. Thanks Sam for the recommendation.

Clean.
Spacious.
Kid friendly.
Affordable on a budget.
Not very busy.
Arrived at 9:30 and was seated immediately. Waitress took our breakfast order by 9:38. Food arrived at 9:44. Waitress was polite and attentive.
We all ordered the corn beef hash. And a biscuit and gravy to share.
The eggs left something to be desired. But the corn beef, hash browns and toast was wonderful. The biscuits were soft and cooked just right. The gravy was a little bland but nothing a little table salt and pepper didn’t fix.
I’d eat here again.
Price in total: 39.87

By far one of the best in Santa Rosa NM. Iconic rout 66 diner. Breakfast was very good and staff very friendly. Next best place yo eat going east is in Amarillo. I recommend this place

This place takes you back to the old days, our kids really enjoyed the phone booth outside.
The food is like you’re grandparents made you, from fresh fat bacon down to the simple, delicious coffee. There were 2 waitresses to an almost packed restaurant and they were managing it with ease. This place isn’t for you if you can’t be patient on your drink refills. But the servings are big and the staff was hustling to get everyone taken care of. Give it a shot. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Food was fair but if you are looking for true NM Chile go down a few blocks West. There is another place that has authentic Mexican food. While the chile here was tasty it was more like a thin mixture of wolf brand chili. I doubt we will be back but if you are starvin and no where else is open this place will suffice.

They are only open for breakfast and lunch. Yummy food and classic diner ambiance. A good place to eat while checking out the Blue Hole on route 66.

First time at this restaurant. Not many open for breakfast. I had an omelet with meat in it and salsa. I was happy with my breakfast and I had great ice tea. I took a chance on the restaurant and I'm glad. Good food and sevice.
