Mi Ranchito

Our family has made this our primary restaurant for Mexican food. We used to drive to Chevys before the pandemic induced inflation to the prices everywhere. In my opinion the food here is fantastic and the new menu has a ton of options. The staff has always been super friendly and are on top of getting you what you need. The seating can be a little tight when they are busy but for the most part its comfortable. They also have a nice outdoor seating area if being inside is not your thing during the summertime.

I don’t like to gush over a place in a review, especially if it’s our first time here. But OH. MY. GOSH. You guys. This place is absolutely spectacular. Food, drinks, service… all spectacular. We both fell in love. The free red salsa that comes out to start your meal is surprisingly spicy, so watch out for that! But it’s incredibly flavorful, and when the server overheard us chatting with the next table about it, she brought us both free bowls of pico de gallo, which was delicious. The green salsa (mild) was also excellent. The margaritas might be the best ones we’ve ever had. They rival homemade. We split the quesabirria, which is a life-changer, and the fresh and citrusy ceviche. I also got the flank steak (bistec pancho villa is what I think it’s called, on the especiales menu), which was easily two meals worth of mouthwatering food. Even the rice was flavorful! We will definitely be back!!

This place is a great little Mexican. It is super busy when there's an event at the Luther Burbank Center so you might want to make reservations because it is a good spot to eat before going to a show. The servers are very kind and attentive. The food tastes good and is very enjoyable, I look forward to the next time I can make it here.
