Yes yes yes! This is what a coffee spot should be like. The coffee is excellent and reasonably priced, but what makes it so great here is the service! Everyone I’ve encountered is helpful, courteous, honest, and FRIENDLY. Makes for a great experience every time I go (and noticeable when I go to subpar coffee shops)
I walked into Peet’s this afternoon, located on Montana Avenue in Santa Monica, and was lucky enough to be greeted by the manager, Sean. I asked him several questions about the best kind of decaf coffee to suit my particular taste and needs. Sean was extremely helpful, friendly and patient. He spent a long time walking me through my options. He further helped to orient me with regards to the right way to grind my coffee to the consistency that would optimize the flavor for my chosen method of preparation. He even explained to me how to change the consistency of the coffee grinds if I were to choose a different way of preparing my coffee in the future. I am no coffee expert (as you can tell) but Sean gladly shared his knowledge with me in the kindest way. He went above and beyond just selling me coffee. Thank you, Sean. I look forward to seeing you again at Peet’s soon.
I got a regular black coffee over ice, an egg and cheese on brioche and a Havana cappuccino. Everything was good and the service was fast and friendly. It's also the one place in the area that's open early and seems to get a regular flow of locals.
Wonderful coffee shop. Great and helpful workers, delicious drinks comfortable chairs and tables and also fast WiFi. Everything you will expect from a coffee shop.

The team at Peet's is awesome! They helped me with an event and brewed fresh hot delicious coffee for 75 people on short notice. I know it's not easy to make that happen, but as a team, they made it work. I love their coffee and now this is my favorite location simply because I had excellent service! Thank you so much!
love this place, early morning, feeling the ocean's air. coffee is always good, smart waiters and just to have a seat in the sun on montana is already a good start of the day ! enjoy guys

I come here every day, good food, Great coffee and Espresso, Great friendly service, good atmosphere, the only thing I don't like is they're always busy and sometimes there are no tables available.
We've been going there for over 15 years, love that place!
