Ashley our server was superb. Everything we ordered came out in good timing. The food was really good and portions were perfect. The quesadilla appetizer was filling enough for one person. The fish n chips were delicious and my wife's stir fry shrimp n veggies were very tasty.
Ashley was very helpful and knows how to serve and treat customers. Im sure they all know how but we are thankful we had her.

If you like a hot margarita then this is the stop for you! I love spicy but I might have met my match. That said I always love trying new things! This was my fourth margarita on the trail. The food was good too! I had the green chile burger and they had a gluten-free bun. It was definitely a sports bar and I cheered for a random team. If you want a quiet place to talk this is not the place. A fun stop after a long day of walking and exploring the city.

We visited Boxcar 3/22 for a date night! The Santa Fe-mous Green Chile Stew is what I recommend you have...at least a cup. The flavor and texture were perfect! It's served with a soft, warm flour tortilla. The chili a la vegan was heavy on the red chili and cumin. We had the roasted Brussels, which were super yummy. And we shared a picante grande burger, cooked to perfection, with a side of delicious broccolini. There are some margaritas on the menu that are no longer available. They have Elevated IPA on tap! Alvin and Casey were fantastic and took excellent care of us. Thank you to the entire staff of Boxcar for making our date night so enjoyable. We'll be back!

Dropped in for lunch to the Boxcar. Food and service was excellent. They said they make everything in house from the bread on up, and I believe it. Worth a stop if you are in the area.

The portions were large enough but were incredibly greasy. My
to-go order was lost and took a few people to figure out where it was and the drink that I paid for came in a child-size cup. It was also really expensive too. Ended up with a 50-dollar bill for just two sides and an entree. The price did not reflect the quality. Seemed like a decent enough place to have a beer but I just wanted food that was close and thought wouldn't be a hassle.

It's ok. The appetizers we ordered never came. Two of us enjoyed our chicken n waffles which we'd recommend. The cocktails were good, too. Others in our party weren't as favorable or were neutral in their opinions of their meals.
