Best coffee shop in Santa Cruz! They recently stayed open till midnight 2 nights in a row to serve free pancakes to students studying for finals and give them a place to study!
What a hidden gem! A rustic, elegant, and sophisticated feel. I automatically feel at home, tea, coffee, art and music adds to this place to retreat too, on a rainy or sunny day in the neiborhood.
This is a super warm and wonderful space to work or study in. Their cold brew is delicious, and if you are in the mood for a pastry I highly recommend their morning bun. So good! Also, their décor is insanely cool.

Unique cafe not far from downtown Santa Cruz. Live music and open mic on certain days. Plenty of seating for studying or playing boardgames.
The best atmosphere of any coffee shop I've been too. I enjoyed the Chai Latte too. I definitely recommend stopping by this spot whenever you can. The interior is very homely and welcoming. Perhaps not enough meal options however. It is better for a snack and a coffee than anything else.
