Visited Johnny's rather last minute with 9 of us. They accommodated us in about 30 minutes even though they were packed. Laura was our waitress. Hands down best server ever!! True gem It was a special birthday for 4 of us and we couldn't have picked a better spot!
Great service and good food! A gem place on a Friday night especially for locals. A server named Nina has exceptional customer service! She can make recommendations because of her experience and caters to her customers needs for a memorable meal.
The food was pretty good. Drinks were good. We decided to come here because Phil's Fish Market was way too busy and crowded. The garlic bread was good. The oysters were fresh and delicious. They were priced well. The cioppino was decent but tasted a little bland to be honest. The seafood Linguine was pretty good, but not great. Something was off about the seasoning and flavors of the dishes. The drinks were strong and delicious. The service was excellent. Our server was friendly and welcoming and knew the menu well. There is parking available in the lot outside, but it is pay to park. The views are great. Great atmosphere. I would recommend this place. Very clean and well kept.
Clam chowder was super delicious!
The food was fresh… but very less options to choose from…
The place altogether has great service and comes with a beautiful view

Really a perfect treat. Fish right off the boat and onto our plates, into our mouths, now swimming in our belly’s and the fish seems to have had a wonderful adventure. We are all getting along fine.
A lovely seaside setting to enjoy the excellent offerings at Johnny's Harbor. Fresh fish prepared straight from the dock, "undressed" or "decked out" such as this Tempura Curry Cod with Sticky Rice and Pickled Ginger cannot disappoint. Kudos to the Chef and our friendly waiter, Tony, for an excellent dining experience.
WOW - What amazing service from a server, Michelle plus kitchen manager, Greg. I found Johnny's Harborside menu to be exactly what we needed due to my husband's food allergies. Unfortunately, my husband wasn't feeing well, so I drove into town to order in person at Johnny's only to find their take out menu is limited (understandably, so as to not compromise the experience of a meal being eaten cold, soggy etc). When I explained how important their menu selection was to me, Michelle overheard my plight and enrolled Greg the kitchen manager to help me. Greg asked his chef to prepare an amazing allergen free meal. I couldn't be more thankful for the wonderful and caring service from Johnny's team, to include the bartender who ensured I was comfortable while waiting for my order. Kudos to you all!
Views of Santa Cruz marina. Good Service, good food. Clam chowder soup was surprisingly flavorful and zesty. The tangy salsa with fish tacos elevated the fresh flavors.. Flourless cake was dense and rich. Must for chocolate lovers.
Nice view and exceedingly eager service. Wasn't crazy about the food, but that has more to do with my Croatian expectations of seafood than the actual quality of the meal from an American perspective. As a Croatian, I generally don't eat seafood in the States because I tend to hate it. The cioppino was waaaaay too spicy instead of heavy on white wine, garlic, olive oil, and parsley - which is what I would have loved to taste.
