It's an amazing place to try out Thai cuisine. But it's usually crowded and you'll have to almost always wait to get a table. The food is worth the wait though.
The green curry was good but extremely spicy. Pineapple fried rice was so amazing that I was just not able to stop eating!! It was amazing with a lot of dry fruits in it. And Thai iced tea was just the perfect finish to an enjoyable meal.
If you like Thai food and you like it hot, go to this place.
The good:
Food 5/5 Believe the waiter when he tells you the food is more spicy than usually!!
Service 4/5 Always had friendly service but they are always in a hurry
Value 5/5 Soup, crackers, main dish for just over $10
Little deductions for:
The wait during lunch time can be long - then again it is because the food is great
Personal favorite: Red Curry
One of the best Thai food I ever had . . If you like spicy then you have to start with spice level medium then challenge yourself with hot next time. . Flavors and taste been mouth watering experience for me 😋😋
THE SOUP IS JUST AWESOME!!!!!!! MUST TRY ! PANANG CURRY IS TOO GOOD ! AMBIENCE IS REALLY COzY AND FRIENDLY. Amust try' THAI place to go!
They are one of the best Thai food providers in Santa Clara area and I just love to give them a visit any time and they always gives u a very warm welcome. Unfortunately don't have any pics of this place.
The ambience is quiet Thai with slow music aromatic nuke warm water on table and setup, u will fall in love with it the very moment u will get in. We have ordered many things and I have enjoyed almost everything. Their traditional spring roll which comes in welcome plate is best in Santa Clara area. We have ordered prawns in cup cake pan, 4 musketeer, spring roll, Tom yum mixed veg, yellow panang curry, satay chicken and the amazing pad Thai noodles.
After so many visit to this place I can say I have fallen in love with Thai food culture wish they will open a branch in Bangalore :)
@Dusita Thai Cuisine
The food is really good and spicy even at medium levels. Man I always thought Indians eat a lot of spice but this is lot more spicier!! I had the veg pad ki Mao which is noodles. I felt the quantity was very good and tasted very good.
Was there along with My team mates in Santa Clara. To be frank I had never tasted authentic thai food prior to this. So was relying on recommendations from my team mates. I was suggested to go with pad thai. I opted for pad thai with chicken *normal spicy*.I star marked the spicy thing because their normal spicy as well is pretty spicy :-D. Taste was fine as I am not adapted to thai food. During lunch beads of sweat started rolling from my forehead and by the time I completed my lunch I was soaked in sweat :-)..even though the cuisine was honey glazed...I recommend it.. Happy Fooding :-)
Came here as a large group of 20 people which they were able to accommodate without issues. Quite a popular restaurant during the dinner rush hour time.
The Duck run was the highlight of all the dishes. Spicy, filled with tasty pieces of juicy duck, good vegetables paired with a delicious sauce.
Good amount of vegetarian options.
Only downside is very limited parking in the parking lot in front although plenty of parking right behind the restaurant in the neighborhood.
Also no printed itemized receipt makes reimbursing this for corporate expenses more difficult than it could be with a digital receipt.
We have been here multiple times. The food here is tasty and is served very well. The portion size is very generous and definitely an item worth 10-15$ must be more than enough for one person. While ordering, for spiciness level, make sure you select the right level. They have 4 levels of spiciness, mild, medium, spicy and Thai spicy. I love eating spicy food and still I was not able to consume the “spicy” level of food from here. So, I prefer “medium” level here. Make no mistake, the “spicy” and “Thai spicy” levels are more than what a general person can take. 5 stars for food and portion. 4 stars for ambience based on cost. 5 stars for the waiters. 3 stars for how much the waiters are attentive. 3.5 stars for the cutlery(I think it can be cleaner). Overall, in my list, it is a highly recommended place for everyone.
The first time I have been to this place and it was really good! I enjoyed my dish very much, Dusita Kao Soy. I got the Medium spicy and it was good enough for me. I like it spicy and I would not go more than this. The portions are big enough for one plate to serve two.
One of the best Thai cuisine I have ever tried. The golden calamari and green curry was superb. Lots of vegetarian options as well for vegetarians. Definitely recommended!
Delicious thai food, the best we had till the time in bay area. Make sure you choose right amount of spice. We got medium (usually get maximum spiced) and it was very good.
Good food. The soups are delicious and yes spice levels are high. So if you can’t handle heat go with no spice. Their mild is also spicy. Portion size is big. A small cup of soup is also a bowl.
The servers are a tad bit rude. We had called and made reservations for three over the phone and they had confirmed. But, when we arrived were rudely told we don’t take reservations.
The parking spot outside the restaurant is small so you might have to look for parking elsewhere.
The food and service was very good and reasonably priced. We ordered red curry, pad see mao (was delicious), papaya salad, chicken satay and yummy fried spring rolls. Quite impressed with the quantity and food. The only problem is parking, so look out for street parking
I live very close by and this was my first time ordering to do with Dusita. I was told that the way time is 60 mins but mine was 35-40 mins. We ordered crab fried rice medium spicy and it was very spicy but prefect for our taste bud. Portion are huge and very tasty. My only complain is the parking which is very limited.
