Beautiful breads in this no-frills bakery also offering dine-in breakfast and lunch. Their famous "egg rose" with homemade artichoke spread on a thin slice of kalamata olive bread is worth trying. Service was a bit slow but the staff was very friendly.

Very nice place to enjoy breakfast or simply buy some bread! We had 2 chocolate croissants that were delicious, together with a blueberry muffin, a croissant with cheese and ham and a pretzel! The food overall was very nice and the staff was super helpful and friendly! We also got the speciality olive bread to go, which was a bit expensive ($10).

Still a great breakfast place although not as good after they changed owners. I like the "build your own omelet" and if you visit on weekends, try the Rudolph Steiner bread. Yummy 😋

Food was amazing. Restaurant was very clean. Service was outstanding. Get the huevos rancheros and the cheese danish. Incredible!

Great local bakery serving amazing bread and pastries, plus scatch-made entrees for breakfast and lunch in a comfortable cozy space. I ordered the roasted chicken and pasilla chile hash and was thoroughly impressed. The chicken was tender and well seasoned, while the red potatoes and pasilla chiles provided the perfect accompaniment to every bite.

I have had salmon eggs Benedict all over the country and on the shores of Canada as well. This is hands down the best salmon eggs Benedict I have ever had! The huevos rancheros was good as well, but when I go back here next time I think I will just be ordering one thing... Salmon eggs Benedict. Tremendously fantastic! Well done!!

Carbohydrates & gluten lovers rejoice, this place is your heaven. 10 assorted kinds of fresh daily made pastries. Along with 20 kinds of breads made and baked right in front of you. Breakfast & lunch served daily ( 7am-2pm) I must have ordered the wrong item off the menu. Sure sounded wonderful at the time. "The Rose"; 2 slices of toasted Kalamata olives bread, spread thinly with a very salty lack luster artichoke spread. Adorned with 2 poached eggs (cooked to your liking, soft, medium, or hard) for $18. Along with a French press, seeping dark loose tea leaves in lukewarm water. Am l missing something here. $29 with tax, & tip. City parking lot nearby on the corner of State Street, first 75 minutes are free.

Really great breakfast, pastries and service - had the omlette, triple berry scone, croissant, and earl grey tea. A bit pricey but worth it in terms of atmosphere, service and food quality.
