Review Chipotle Mexican Grill - Sandusky

So it's like your basic everyday Chipotle nothing special or over the top. The crew was nice they didn't seem rude like you would get at a regular chain fast food place. The line moved quickly. I enjoyed my veggie bowl. I would recommend this place. I do not recommend ordering vonline and picking up though I would be there in person to make your order

This is the dirtiest, nastiest Chipotle I have ever been to in my life . The food service area was disgusting with chunks of chicken in the queso. The girl working there was slow as Moses and rude. They were out of a lot of food and the line was insane . They had chips , but only for online orders. We were so excited that there was a Chipotle in Sandusky to hit up after CP, and sadly we will not be returning .

This chipotle is the most poorly run restaurant I have ever witnessed. They are always out of at least one major ingredient, always understaffed, and will give you undercooked rice, chips, and anything else they don't feel like actually finishing. if you try to avoid the insane in person wait times here, the online order will give you less than half portions and you end up not getting any food. Even in person they will give insultingly small amounts to avoid restocking or just making more freaking food. I get that food service isn't where every one wants to be but it seems like this restaurant just really doesn't want to do even the bare minimum. I've watched one staff member take 20 minutes to serve two people while other staff members watched or played on their phones. Went in at night (over an hour before close) and they declined to cook or put out more chicken, steak, or anything they ran out of. It seems like there is always an excuse for them to turn away customers (cash only, online order only, completely out of most meats, grills down, etc.) It's just so poorly managed and not worth the hassle. The food is good in the 1/20 times they manage to both have what you want and cook it correctly. I've worked in food service and understand the work sucks sometimes, but it's still not an excuse to just not do it.

This place is a joke. Do not go here, they are short staffed. Lines are long. Service sucks. Ordered online the other day went to pick up my meal. And was told I could get in line for my food or call a number for a refund. Was on the phone for 30 minutes, my whole lunch. Went back today to redeem my credit, and they didn't have half of the food ready. I will not be going back.

7pm and out of everything. How are you out of steak and lettuce with hours to go before closing? So not waste your time here. Go to Kroger and make your own. Complete denial of responsibility, wouldn't allow us to modify things to accommodate for lack of items, like extra tomatoes instead of lettuce? Nope. Walked out.

Soooo tired of driving to Chipotle, getting to the counter only to hear, "We're only taking online orders today." How am I supposed to know that??!!? Is a social media post or a simple sign on the door too difficult? I ordered online once but will never do it again because the food barely filled up the bowl!

I would give them 5 stars if they could just keep from running out of food items ~ other than that, they are my number 1 favorite fast food. I really like that you can see their work area (always clean), and give them instructions about how much of each item you'd like.

Usually love chipotle. Went there for lunch today. Waited in line for half an hour. The guy working put barely any meat, rice or beans in my bowl or burrito. Stopped another girl from doing her job while she was trying to finish the order ahead of mine. Labelled what meat was in my orders wrong and she got in trouble for it being labelled wrong. Told him I wanted light hot sauce on my food and he cut me off while I was talking and put a huge scoop of hot sauce on my food. There is more hot sauce on my bowl order than there is food.

This place is awesome!!! The food is amazing and the atmosphere is nice and calm. I highly recommend this to anybody who loves Mexican food!!!!!

Super disappointed. Wednesday ordered food for myself and coworker through app. Picked it up and got it back to work and found my bowl had no chicken in it at all... I tried to call multiple times no answer at all. We order from here all the time but for the past month or so it has no been what it used too. The bowls are not full anymore and they never have enough items so they just don’t put that much in bowl instead of getting more or having us wait(which I would rather do) . I used to loved this place. I will no longer go there.

They were out of brown rice, pinto beans, chicken, steak, veggies and the little bit of carnitas was SO dry! This was at 3:30 in the afternoon. Dining room was FILTHY! They need better management at this location.

I've been in the restaurant business for like 8 years and just because the line is 20 deep and you guys start to go small on condiments and when usually the burrito fits in two hands and you can hold it with one hand....come on. Have food preps have food ready have someone cleaning the dining room. I know you guys are making money hand over fist in that restaurant please clean the place up.

This was one of my favorite places to go for lunch but now the portions are ridiculously small. I ordered the steak salad and the flavor is great but there is hardly any lettuce or steak in it.

Umm, yikes. That was unfortunately the worst Chipotle I have ever been to. The 'hard tacos' were anything but that. I was shocked to discover they tasted completely stale when I bit into them. And I get you can only fit so much into them, but when the guy put about 10 pieces of rice and black beans in... Seriously? Same issue with the cheese. The portions given out were ridiculous. The guy in front of us was commenting on it as well. This place needs to get it together. So disappointing.

Worst Chipotle I have been to. The place was dirty and the food was cold.

Picked up supper tonight - 2 Bowls, our usual when we do get food from there- pretty disapointed in the way the food was put together. Much smaller portions than usual (probably half the usual amount of rice , meat and vegetables - they were trying to do orders as quickly as possible which didn't leave me any chance to request more of anything) and they didn't drain off any excess liquids from the Salas so the bag left a wet spot on my truck seat and the bowls leaked even more as we pulled them out of the bag. If this is the new norm because it is tourist season I will not be going back.

Food was good music was awful. I liked the food, I didn't like the music. Did I mention the awfulness of the music?

No chicken prepared today. The steak was like chewing bubble gum, and the girl doing veggies was rude as hell. Get a different job if you hate it that much.

Terrible. 2 years ago it was good. Last few times have sucked. I was hoping it was 1 bad that me but 3 in a row. I’m guessing management has change in the last year or two.

Always terrible service! Walked out the last three times cuz it takes forever to get waited on...

Great food... disappointed in the chips... tasted stale... burrito was delicious!

Grill cook touched raw steak to put on grill then touched the cooked chicken to serve people, the staff is unclean and the tables are too.
