This is my "zen" place, day or night. The nicest staff that always remembers you!! Beautiful view, the freshest food, and great customer base! Animal friendly, too!

Facebook actually recommended this place to us as a “a place where the locals go.” Our table had burgers, walleye tacos and shrimp tacos. All were fabulous. Staff was nice and helpful with questions. Lots of locals were there as well having a great time😉. We will be back when we visit Sandusky again!
Parking was free. Plenty of seating. Dog friendly. Amazing view. Food was good. You need to level your expectations when you see burgers, hot dog, nachos and fries on the menu. But it tasted fine. Served a nice variety of alcohol. Would definitely recommend. There's a grass field and small hill nearby the kids can run or adults and relax.
This place was really neat. Great views of Cedar Point, tasty food, and live music. The tacos were really great!
Dockside cafe is a quaint outdoor restaurant that features beautiful views of Cedar Point and Sandusky Bay. Dockside had ample seating during my visit but as Friday moved closer to 6pm, the table began to fill, but local acoustic entertainment arrived with the slightly heavier crowd as well. The food at Dockside is better than average bar food, although a little pricey ($60 for 2 adults and three kids...no kids menu is available). I highly recommend the Dockside Burger. Two patties nicely griddled with cheese then nestled between both end of a brioche bun. The side of fries had a unique seasoning that paired very nicely. Dockside also serves alcohol and those prices were very reasonable and they don't skimp on the alcohol. I really enjoyed my visit to Dockside Cafe but will return for a date night without the kids.
Worth it for the view alone. The food only makes it better.
Well prepared, quick, and reasonable priced food make for a delicious meal. Fries are fresh potatoes, fish is local on world famous walleye taco but fried, and the beer is cold and local too.

Such an adorable outside cafe. My friends and I came for lunch. Had the deluxe double burger. It was AMAZING. The view was something else. Would definitely recommend. Will return when in the area again!
Two different years to watch the sunset and have a drink and relax! Good food good drinks!!! Happy hour between 8:00 and 9:00 p.m.
