A surprise gem of a restaurant tucked behind an otherwise average looking 76 gas station. Enjoy the wetland views of Walsh Lake over a hearty meal. Excellent breakfast burrito. If you like a gooey, savory-n-sweet combo, try the bacon jam condiment, though I personally have a more traditional palate. Friendly staff!

My dinner at the Cafe was delicious. Had the 5 hour roasted spaghetti & a house salad. My server was awesome. I'll be coming back here for sure

As a trucker, it has almost everything I need. Clean restroom, great food in the restaurant, all kinds of things to buy in the store, friendly people, and a small parking lot that's still big enough for my doubles to fit.
No showers though and that's why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. If they had even one shower, it would be an easy 5 star place in my opinion.
Diesel is fairly cheap here too compared to your main places like Petro/TA, Loves, and Pilot/Flying J's.
Back to the restaurant, they serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Can either dine in or get it to go.

Delicious Fish and Chips on Fridays. There's usually a long line. Nobody seems to mind as alot of locals come here and catch up while waiting. There's a patio to dine and look at the view of the lake and greenery. There's also indoors of course. Great service, yummy food no matter your choice. There's a variety of good eats. You won't be disappointed.

Love the food here always really good. No complaints about the convenient store. Although this day the restaurant decided they did not want to serve me. Always had great service before but today they just walked around me and made me wait for almost 10 minutes and would not take my order . Then when I went to leave and I told the cook and the staff about it they just said we were really busy and could not get to you which was a lie because there was a bunch of people and they’re getting served everything they needed Except me really bad day for them guys won’t even listen to the customer when they’re trying to tell them that they need to pay attention to their customers all of them not just the locals.

A surprising gem tucked away at the back of a nice convenience store. Serving locally raised meat (Woods) and locally roasted coffee (Evans Bros) this cafe serves a traditional rural American menu with outstanding views. The food usually comes with large amounts of cheese and/or sauce, aimed at those with a mild palette. Portions are quite large and very filling, extremely mild in flavor. The huge windows look out over the Selkirk Mountains and a small lake. In summer, sit on the patio while your kids play on the large lawn and play structure. The convenience store is definitely above average with locally roasted coffee and grocery items.

As a long-distance trucker, its hard to find a place where you are welcomed and have a great meal.
This time, they truly disappointed me.
Charging me $2 to substitute half my fries for a salad, who does this?
Then this morning, the opener arrived late, so nothing was prepared other than the coffee. No breakfast sandwiches or any other hot prepared meal to go. And not the first time the opener is late.
Adding more insults, I decided instead to buy a deli sandwich to go. The sandwich wasn't even cut in half, and worst, all the meat was placed in one big mound in the middle it.
What a disappointing experience.

Food warmer nearly empty by 830 on a Saturday morning on more than one occasion. Burritos made with steak fries so they don' hold together and fall apart.
I love this place but quality taking a hit
