Babs' Pizzeria

Babs Pizza selections are delicious. The sauces are really nice (maybe a pinch more of salt and garlic). My son worked for Babs his senior year of HS and said he likes it the best. I loved it when he came home with a pie that he specially made for us. Worth every cent! He hopes to return for part time work during the summer after returning from college.

Stopped in on 1/24/22 for a slice to go. I ended up getting 1/2 of a meat stromboli. It was excellent. The service was fast & friendly. The pizzas that they were boxing up while I was there looked and smelled amazing. Can't wait to go back and try a slice or a whole pizza. 2/21/22 - Finally had an opportunity to order a whole pizza for the office. OUTSTANDING pizza. I'm a thick crust guy but this is really good pizza. I may be undergoing a conversion to thin crust.

I’m originally from Long Island, so when I found Babs I was so excited. The first couple times I was so happy with the sauce and the thin-NY style pizza. I could actually fold it and watch the grease drip down 🤤. I live in CDA, but come to sand point often for soccer games, swimming and other activities so always make it a point to stop by. The past two years it has worsened. The prices are fair, but the consistency in the pizza is lacking. Today we went and the pizza looked like an oval, train wreck. Some days there is no sauce, too much sauce, no cheese, too much cheese, the dough was or was not done correctly. Not to mention the girl at the front counter was very impolite. Not sure if customer service in a pizza parlor is her thing. She was very rude on the phone and even had me open my own bottles because she couldn’t be bothered. I don’t mind doing it, but she didn’t even offer. Just showed me-behind the register-how to do it. I guess I’m all about customer service and that, as well as the quality, have gone down. I won’t be making special stops anymore and that’s a shame because you had a great pie once! Your sauce is still good though!

Food was good but the service was horrible. I ordered one peice of pizza and it took them over half an hour to hand me a slice from a pizza they already had out. Good food but the worst service I’ve seen in a very long time. Not to mention the workers repeatedly cussed at customers and did not wear gloves

While the food is delicious, Once I pulled up and watched the two boys make our to-go order with hair dangling down in their face and one of them kept touching his nose and face. He also handled cash and then promptly touched the surfaces and utensils for the food. There is also no point in wearing gloves if you scrunch them up and carry them around in in your hands, and use them to touch every non-food related surface. Super incompetent hygiene standards. Lord knows what they do in the back when they’re not being watched 🤢

If you haven't tried this hole in the wall place you definitely should without question. Tbh I was a little skeptical- Only because they claim "New York Style Pizza" but let me tell you... it brought back several memories of getting a slice while I lived in NYC. It's all about the sauce and dough... and they're on point with both. Superior compared to the others in town!
