We had the bruschetta with shrimps, and burrata as appetizers. Both were well portioned and delicious. For main we ordered the mushroom tagliatelle and shrimp tagliarini. In hindsight probably should have just ordered one pasta and get another small plate instead. Service was prompt and to the point. Overall a pleasant dining experience.
David Catered our wedding and did an Amazing job! So many people complimented the food and said it was one of the favorite parts of our wedding. David takes a lot of pride in his work and really puts in the effort to keep everyone happy and make sure everything runs smoothly.
Would highly recommend both the restaurant and their catering service!
Magnifique! Every dish I tried here was fantastic. Had the scampi bruschetta, calamari fritti, parpadelle con salsicca, halibut special, sorbetti (blackberry and vanilla), and their seasonal bread pudding for dessert.
I will definitely be back! Such a great find in San Rafael!
We were looking for a place to eat and had our dog. We found Il Davide and gave them a call. Matt hooked us up with an outside table so we could take our dog. When we arrived we were greeted by outdoor lounge singing and a lovely atmosphere. Matt greeted us, and our dog, and then set us up with a table outside.
The service was responsive and the food was very good. They accommodated small changes, such as chicken instead of veal for the piccata.

Great food, grwat atmosphere, great experience. The Place was hopping on a Tuesday evening. I had ordered the Cioppino and not many can make it good. This one was excellent!! Will go back again.
My wife and I love this restaurant, they catered our wedding. We went in for lunch on my wife's birthday and we were seated quickly and met with warmth and smiles. The server was very polite and responsive. My wife had an issue with her salad and they brought her a new one right away. There was a mixup with our wines and they offered us a free glass to make up for the mix up and then brought us a desert on the house. I was very happy and although my wife's experience was not as great the wait staff and host did everything they could to accommodate us. We will be coming back for sure and my crab Louis was excellent
The food was good and I enjoyed their desserts. Tiramisu was really good 😋.

Magnifico! Stupendous! Incredible! This place is impeccable. The quality, ingredients, the artistry and flavor of skilled craftsmen making a memorable meal. The only problem is everything is so amazing deciding is so difficult. If you live in San Rafael this is your new favorite restaurant. If you do not live in San Rafael it is worth the drive. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🚀🙏
The service was amazing! They were very busy and very nice. The prices were not that bad! Our server was very very nice and gave us complimentary Calamari because of a previous mistake. The food was great and so was the dessert! I ordered the Cacio E Pepé and for dessert was the Peanut Butter Gelato with a Gavottes Fan Wafer! Thanks for a great experience :) Would most definitely come back again!
Tuscan cuisine was on my mind, so after I secured the tuna gear I needed from the Western Angler, I went over to my old pal Lickiddy Shaftmore's because I owned him dinner.
II Davide Restaurant is the best Restaurant for Italian food in Marin county...according to the Lick, so we went there. All I can say is WOW!
The food was amazing as well as the service 5 stars all the way. ☆☆☆☆☆
